9:25, what thugs did he "let out"? I hope it was not the thugs who burglarized my house last week.

Brouwers is a PD so don't say anybody. If you are worried about that then Pieper would be the only choice.

Can't sell Bonaventure short. He's held the seat for almost two decades. And he is the son of legendary judge Joe Bonaventure Sr. who became a local celebrity back when he presided over several very high profile trials, which were televised gavel to gavel.

On the other hand those high profile trials were about 20 to 25 years ago, so a tremendous number of voters may no longer recognize the Bonaventure name.

They also changed the rules for him because of his connections. Not so sure he deserved to be there in the first place.

They changed the rules because of how he was elected. Not for him because of his connections. He has been a solid dependable judge for 3 terms. ZERO reason to change horses now.

11:44-Before they changed the rules could a freshly minted attorney run for any judgeship? Are the current rules 5 years for lower courts, 10 years of experience for District, and 15 for appellate courts?

I wasn't sure about this race until I received Pieper's mailer. It was so out of line, I'm voting for Bonaventure on principle. Really, a picture of a man holding a woman's arm down and Bonaventure's name plaque right next to it? Outrageously offensive. Reminded me of Almase's mailer back in the day in her race against Campbell.

If you are interested to see, go down to the RJC and visit Dept. 9. He's here all week, every week.

Bonaventure. Nicest Judge and very fair. Pieper’s mud slinging is very out of line

Bonaventure seems to be very fair and not many complaints about him. Brouwers seems to be a female version, maybe more left. Piper is a DA and they just want to lock everyone up. Think her mudslinging against Bonaventure is in very bad taste.
