With primary ballots set to go in the mail today and early voting starting Saturday, it’s time to talk about some of the contested judicial primary races featured on that ballot. We welcome your comments on the qualifications of the candidates as well as any information you can offer to help voters make an educated decision. For JUSTICE OF THE PEACE LAS VEGAS TOWNSHIP DEPARTMENT 7, the candidates are:
- Max Berkley
- Dena Rinetti
- Amy Wilson
What are your thoughts on the race in this department?
My vote – Dena Rinetti
Dena Rinetti.
Yes, Rinetti may be the presumed favorite to win this, but we can't underestimate the political pedigree, connections and resources, enjoyed by Berkley.
His mom of course(although no longer in office) is the long-serving member of U.S. Congress, and his dad is highly regarded, and very successful, local attorney Fred Berkley. And that is just a coupe of his connections.
Amy Wilson has the chops and the demeanor.
So here we are in November Dena Rinetti is out…. not much info on Berkley or Amy…
