I'm all for more business in Nevada so it should be a company choice, not a local regulation or law whether to have adult film actors wear condoms. It should be the actor's choice to work under contract with a company if they want to wear a condom or not based on what a company says. Whatever we can do to take money from California and get tax revenue, I am all for.

Here's a way for the cities to raise more money: fine all the attorneys/judges who still have campaign signs up around town.

Shall we start naming names? Just saw several at the corner of Oakey and Rancho.

@Rancho and Oakey: Gentile, Kurth, Scalia and Brown. Low budget, skimping on sign removal?

Abbi Silver's "I have no idea what's going on" look featured in Morison's latest puff piece.

And I like how the commenter had to point out that Morrison's list of the types of cases being pushed down were actually the ones that would stay with NVSC. It was fixed quickly, but she is a joke of a reporter.

Is there something important you need to know?
Well, Ms. Morrison's reports are The Best in Show.
Exposing old wrinkly balls that cheat.
Protecting voters from corruption. How sweet!
Investigates judges, attorneys and payoffs too.
How does she do it? Tell me, do.
Never a quitter, and ethical too,
Jane Ann you're an Angel, God Bless You!

It is enlightening to learn that a criteria for selection was the lack of responsiblities weighing the future jurist down, to permit the successful applicant to "quick-start"…..would not want a judge too tied to job responsibilites, or who made the commitment to serve for 6 years in thr old job.

Morrison has lost a lot of credibility to me, as a long time RJ reader. Her articles are very biased.

The RJ is biased in general. The Ops are unreadable.

I"m no fan of Morrison's, but isn't she a columnist, not a reporter? And aren't columnists allowed to be "biased"?

Rumor has it the list of 18 applicants for JC 6 has been narrowed to 8 and the interviews should be starting soon. Can anyone confirm the list? I did not see anything on the county site under news.

Maybe it's just these old eyes of mine, but the hashtag #JeSuis always first resolves itself in my mind to "Jesus is." Which makes the #JeSuisAhmed tag doubly confusing.
