If you are like me, a lot of people ask you for guidance on judicial races. Where I have an informed opinion, I do share it. As attorneys and officers of the Court, I think we have a special duty this year to make sure the voters in our orbit are aware William "Bill" Kephart's history. I have shared the following links with every person who has asked for guidance on judicial races (about a dozen). I haven't said to vote for or against Kephart. Every single person has thanked me for the links, expressed how appalled they are by Kephart, and voted against him.
It is easy for a race like this to get lost in a year like this. Please be sure you get the word out on Kephart. He should not be a judge.

Kefart's total lack of remorse for intentionally taking a man's freedom away for decades is truly sickening…
Get rich or get arrested trying? Or you can be Hunter Biden and get rich by committing crimes and never face any repercussions?
9:50 — Hey, muttonhead, Little Bo Peep is looking for you.
How many cases are you handling and what is your area of practice?
I'm in ID and I am handling about 55 total. Of those, about 5 are prelit and about 5 are arbitration cases.
Just trying to access how much my life sucks.
Does your life suck because you live in Idaho, or because you do insurance defense? Just kidding. Just try to remember that financially you are doing better than most of the working people in America. Try to gain as much trial experience as you can, then think about going out on your own for the other side. You will be surprised how well you can do out on your own as long as you watch your overhead and do not get in trouble with the State Bar. Could luck!
Your life does not suck. You are in the top 10% of the top 1% of the world's population as far as amenities of life. I know that life is really hard and that existential stresses are out there. But your life is pretty good all things considered.
1:24 is right. And that is a good reminder that peace and fulfillment do not come from our relative positions in life, but instead from within, and from acceptance. I suffer from anxiety and am in treatment. Sometimes, I have flashes of that inner peace. It usually comes through meditation practice, my family and religious practice. I strongly recommend that anyone who feels overwhelmed, anxious or depressed pick up meditation practice. It has been a life line for me.
Appellate Law civil rights mainly. About 100 cases, but as is the nature of these cases maybe one to three are active at a time and most are just awaiting briefing or awaiting decision.
250-300, real estate law. Around 15% is heavily contested, 5% is appellate, 25% is monitoring, 50% is uncontested litigation, and 5% is leftover shit I don't want to handle. I dream of a smaller case load, but I like money.
I used to work at a megafirm, where I'd work on a single billion dollar case at at time. I've since moved down the rungs, and I work on 5-10 cases at a time, and I don't think it leaves me with the bandwidth necessary to do excellent work. The thought of handling 55 cases at a time makes me sick to my stomach.
