Finding Legal Jobs in Las Vegas 2015

  • Law

A reader wants to know where you go when you’re looking for a new job in Las Vegas. Last year we had a post listing 10 of the most common resources for finding a legal job in Las Vegas which included sources from Dad to casino HR websites. Are you using those resources? Do you know of a new resource? Where do you go to apply for Gentile & Cristalli, PLLC?

On that same topic, for those of you who are employers or doing the hiring–where do you go to post jobs and/or find candidates? Do you call up career services at Boyd or do you take advantage of all the goodness that Craigslist has to offer? Do you use a recruiter? Do you have any interest in sending us your job posting for us to post on a jobs page here at the blog?

UNLV career services has a handy email summary of open jobs – if I were hiring I'd submit the info there.

Unrelated, but I'm wondering why the RJ is citing FindLaw for an explanation of class actions – http://reviewjournal.com/news/las-vegas/summerlin-hospital-tb-lawsuit-may-proceed-class-action-judge-rules

Of course, "better" is very subjective in this usage.

The five or six LSC lawyers that went to Dickinson Wright already left it seems from the website.

Surprise, surprise I feel sorry for anyone who has to work with JD Evans. He's an asshole.

7:08 – not sure where you are getting that info – their profiles are still on the Dickinson Wright website?

Evans is a jerk. One of the most unpleasant, unprofessional attorney I had to deal with the work environment.

We are a small firm and we post on state bar, unlv, and Craigslist. No offense but you can't post on here. You put your firm name out there and the trolls come out and hate.

Craigs List? Really? Lemme guess, you're with the prestigious firm of Dewey Cheatham & Howe, yeah? Go on, admit it. 😉

9:14 is right. People do hate. I love when people talk shit, but fail to say what "prestigious" firm they work for. Was Lionel Sawyer considered prestigious? If so, prestige seems overrated. I would rather be rich and in business than starting over at 45 and "prestigious."

http://www.indeed.com is pretty comprehensive. They even have a cool little app for your phone.

I'm not sure the blog should start a job posting section. I wouldn't want to hire the Double Kickstands guy. Although I haven't seen him around for a while.
