Is the news that bad? Have to resort to some made up holiday? In the end, the lawyers who appreciate their staff don't this "week" to show gratitude as I am sure it is shown throughout the year. The rest just treat them like crap 90% of the time anyway regardless

I didn't realize it was Administrative Professions Day until my awesome boss surprised me with a gift. So what does it mean to me…? It means I get to enjoy some fantastic gourmet cookies with my meal this week! haha

Maybe I'm weird, but I love any opportunity to make someone have a good day. Try to remember folks who may be forgotten, like court clerks. 🙂

10:11 AM You are not weird at all and I love making someone's day happy too. I am supplementing what the firm is getting our admin professionals because I just like too and they deserve it.

methinks 10:11 and 10:18 are not lawyers, but rather administrative professionals in sheep's clothing.

Oh 10:18/9:43/9:44, "too" is a different thing than "to." Good luck on your next brief!

"Suck". You could've said that either their spelling or grammar sucks in separate clauses. You combined them, so the verb has to be modified.

He also put in an errant "the" before "Admin Professionals." I guess 12:24's grammar sucks. I hope he's not an admin professional.

Topic: Do you think allowing someone to use the bathroom of the sex which they "identify with" will raise to the level of a civil right?

I'm not sure why anyone should care which toilet another person uses to pee.

Would it matter if they were seeking to access a restroom in a girls locker room?

I'm not sure transgender use of bathrooms is either going to increase or decrease the number of deviant people to get a look at other people's junk in the restroom. Are you aware of any case in which a person dressed up as the opposite gender just for the small chance of sneaking a peak? Yeah, me neither.

Non-issue, just trying to stir one up to justify treating one group of people differently than others. The fake outrage of the right is the only thing that makes their lives worth living, I guess.

Yes, a nonissue, just trying to deny one group of people ("normal") rights while granting special rights to another group of people ("mentally ill"). The fake outrage of the left is the only thing that makes their lives worth living, I guess.

How is "white privilege" even relevant to which restroom a transgender person should use?

The first time I have to look at some dude's penis in the woman restroom is when I will have an issue with "gender" bathrooms. I have to look at my husband's enough as it is, I don't need to see anymore!

How would you see a dude's penis in the women's restroom? Seriously. There aren't any "standers" and I'm assuming no one (man or women) roams around the open areas of the restroom like winnie the pooh/donald duck. How many women's genital have you seen in the women's rest room?

7:59 must be sneaking peeks at her neighbors in restrooms. Yikes.

Seriously, all restrooms should be private anyway. The whole idea of large, open area bathrooms is repugnant to me. As with everything else that makes life miserable, government rules and regulations make group bathrooms almost mandatory. No wonder then that the same governments want to muck up the small bit of dignity that comes from knowing the icky opposite sex is not in the same room as you squeeze a turd out.

If you really really care about the end of discrimination, bring back private bathrooms! Make going potty great again!!
