This just in:

Rob Telles is changing his name to Aaron Brado, claiming that he’s been getting “pushback working as a defendant” and “felt like starting over, and not having information readily available that I was an accused murderer would instill more confidence in the jury and provide me an opportunity to get to know people and have them assess me for who I am, and not as a label.”

I am embarrassed to say that I did not get this post the first two times I read it. Bravo!

Schatzle has a 29th floor home at Panorama Towers and Letizia on her team. Too much baggage to even consider going up against Sciscento. Letizia you picked a horse with a bad hoof in this race.

An unsigned coalition does not inspire any more confidence than the horse puckey peddled by Schatzle. For once, I would like a candidate who says I am a good candidate for judge because I do not claim to be perfect. I have seen the courtroom from both sides. You don’t have to dig up dirt on me because here is my dirt.

There’s something very troubling about a candidate for judicial office who claims to have “won” a lawsuit when, according to the Nevada Current article, judgement was entered in favor of the candidate’s opponents.

What kind of jurist would such a candidate make? Humility, self-reflection, and the ability to recognize and correct one’s own shortcomings and mistakes may not be the best selling points in winning an election, but IMO are important qualities in a jurist.

Does anyone know if the Las Vegas Review Journal is still doing the survey of attorneys on how well judges are rated by the attorneys that present in their courts?
