Steve Wynn is 78. He should just enjoy his pile of money. He's never getting his dignity back. He is headed for a more ignominious final curtain than Jay Sarno, one of his mentors.

I am reading the Jim Marchant Petition and Renewed Peremptory challenge (A-20-824884-W), and I have to say, Mueller is a less-than-effective advocate in these papers.
Mueller prides himself with shooting from the hip, i.e. he does little if any preparation. He believes he is so charming he can win over judges and juries with his gift for gab. Not surprisingly he lives in his own dream world and is highly ineffective.
I don't have an issue with Craig. I don't know the man and we don't practice in the same area. I am saying that using arguments like "even using new math," "Judge Sturman is so bias [sic] that she cannot remain neutral," and "Judge Sturman must recuse herself. Period. End of Story." is highly unlikely to persuade anyone. And, as litigators, we are absolutely in the persuasion business.
Michael McDonald was accused of filing an inaccurate Family Court Financial Disclosure Form and changing some wording in a therapist's report. Not exactly heinous crimes. The case should have been negotiated long ago and McDonald should be in therapy. Thanks to Mueller the poor guy will be spending several years in prison. It is an absolute tragedy.

COVI-19 Nevada counties cant' agree…
The problem for me is there is always conflicting views based on this or that expert's opinion. People generally don't have access or time to read the research, even if it were available. Newest reports/studies assert that masks are ineffective and that isolation only delays but does not stop virus spread. So who is to be believed? What advice is to be followed?
No legitimate study has ever found that masks are ineffective. If you have a source that contradicts 100 years of research and common practice, then cite it.
Is there something that you are gaining by spreading misinformation or are you just stupid?
@ 11:34. It is apparent you don't bother to read. I did not support any position. I only commented that there are varying opinions, some by experts, and that generally people don't know what information is correct. I don't have any expertise in this area and you are probably just flapping your gums.
12:23: You again reference "varying opinions" without any citation. I, too, am unaware of any legitimate "varying opinion." But, of course, you must have one in mind. Please share.
Otherwise, I think that the question posed by 11:34 is a valid one.
Yeah…there isn't 2 sides to the mask issue. There is science on one side and nut jobs on the other. Just because trump has politicized this issue like the lunatic he is does not mean it's an actual credible argument. There are NOT conflicting views in any rational sense of the word. And people have plenty of time to research the issue…99% of us are carrying around devices that allow us to access the known universe of information. Mask deniers (or whatever we are going to call them) are willfully ignorant nut jobs. That's it. Do better with your choice of words, 11:07.
A vaccine for old people might only be a month away. Even if "isolation only delays but does not stop virus spread," that could save thousands of lives.
Fauci politicized the issue, too. They all have. Yelling from the rooftops that everyone has to wear a mask is pathetic. If that makes you feel like you are doing your part, then you need to reassess your priorities and sense of purpose. Most everyone I see around town is wearing a mask and distancing. Move on to some other panic-attack topic already.
3:41, the idea that Fauci politicize the issue is ridiculous. He's a doctor who studies infectious disease. He believes if people wear masks it will reduce the amount of spit/mucus shared between people when they talk/laugh/sing/cough/sneeze because virus particles, while tiny, are transmitted through larger spit droplets that can be caught in masks. Please tell me where politics enters into this? If anything masks should help depoliticize this by reducing transmission so that economic shutdowns aren't necessary.
Fauci is a lifelong public sector employee. Everything that comes out of his mouth does so with consideration of the political impact of what he is saying.

Can't they just add Wynn to the list of excluded persons? the "black book" has already been upheld in Court. What am I missing here.
I guess you are missing that he is the most dynamic man in Nevada in a hundred years.
Made himself and thousands more rich. Employed tens of thousands.
But he did make a couple of "massage therapists" feel uncomfortable. So there's that too.

There are hundreds of thousands of people in each of Nevada's congressional districts. It is sad that the state of things has devolved to the point where people like Dan Rodimer are major party nominees for high office. Surely there are hundreds- perhaps thousands – better suited in both character and skill for higher office. My theory on this is that decent, qualified people don't run because they feel shame, even when the personal attacks in a campaign are completely fabricated. So instead we have a cringe-worthy parade of shameless people like Dan Rodimer and Michelle Fiore who have truly sordid things in their history for which they feel no shame being aired publicly. Or take that woman who was elected CCSD Trustee after a truly shameful incident at Red Robin. This is a terrible thing. Not sure whether it can be fixed or how to fix it.

Holy crap, Akerman is gutted and pay cuts. Good. I only feel sorry for the support staff. Horrible people there.

The opinion that I hear from the attorneys I know about Craig is that he writes fiction in his pleadings. I agree with that opinion.
Mueller prides himself with shooting from the hip, i.e. he does little if any preparation. He believes he is so charming he can win over judges and juries with his gift for gab. Not surprisingly he lives in his own dream world and is highly ineffective.
Stop this now. He is highly effective. Just ask him.
Clearly "big dan" hasn't talked to Mike McDonald. I guess he can't update Mueller's yelp ratings from a jail cell.
I never had an issue with Craig Mueller. I know way worse attorneys who no one birches about on here.
10:47 here,

Second that. I would also be interested in learning your motivation behind making that misleading initial post without any support.

3:41: How did "Fauci politicize[] the issue"? Please cite one such statement by him. Just one.
We can do this all day. Citations appear to be kryptonite to you idiots.
Didn't mean to offend your god, Fauci. No cite needed, just listen to him speak, particularly on CNN. This isn't rocket science…he leans left.
Here is a right wing publication showing masks work.

Sisolak wore a mask and social distanced and he got it. Science.
Yes, and someone died while wearing a seat belt. That means seat belts don't dramatically increase your chances of surviving a car accident. Science.
