B&S is short for “Blood and Soil,” a key slogan of Naziism. 10:22 is unequivocally and shamelessly spreading Nazi ideology.

Personally, my ancestors were immigrants who killed Nazis.

I would prefer to think that 10:22 is satirizing Nazi assholes who support ICE with their full chest, and that the inclusion of B&S (and the over-the-top phrasing) was meant to signal that. Maybe I’m just pollyanna-ing.

Why so narrow-minded? Under this regime, if you entered legally, you are subject to rendition. If you were born here, you are subject to rendition.

So, as a lawyer, you should be aware of the arguments advanced by this regime. If you were born here, but the regime doesn’t like your parents, you are subject to rendition. That’s an actual argument they are trying to make.

Not political and not particularly interested in immigration policy. I will observe how hilarious it is seeing the Ruby Ridge, Waco, Bundy crowd suddenly loving the federal police. Same police that raided Mar A Lago. Must be an interesting mental pretzel.

What is really sad is how bad of an employee you must be to lose your job to someone who doesn’t speak English, has no education, has no connections and is supposedly lazy. Maybe it is time to look in the mirror and realize you don’t like capitalism and prefer to be a socialist since you can’t hack it in a competitive world. Alternatively, blame corporate greed instead of someone trying to make a better life.

Citation fucking needed, chief.

In the 1940 Census, the most recently publicly one available, the US was 89% white. Of those, 10% were born somewhere else. This is 1940, not 1880. Did people settle here? Sure. Many times, they were invited and induced to emigrate. See the German Russian immigration, for example, who settled the heartland and farmed. But did people keep coming here long after the “settlements” were established? Absolutely.

In 1920 the us population was approx 95 million. Half were not “Colonial Stock” as determined by the 70th congress. There were 14 Million Immigrants (15%) , 19 Million Children of Immigrants (20%) and 20.6 (22%) Grand children of Immigrants.
In 2023, there were 47.8 million immigrants residing in the US.

Its a complex issue. Changes like tightening the border in the 1970s and 1980s in the drug war meant than many workers (at times promoted by the US govt) couldn’t cross the border and then go back home. They then brought their families with them.

The settlers v immigrants is a non-sensical debate. The only ones who could likely be considered “settlers” are those that came in the 1600s. What exactly is the difference legally and why does it matter. Its seems like primarily a racist dog whistle.

I refuse to believe these pro-ICE/anti-fundamental rights people are sincere or sincerely attorneys. More likely they are (1) veterans in politics types, (2) legal support staff who tend to be more populist, but lack a deep and nuanced understanding of law, policy, history, or the economy, or (3) these posts are rage-bate (intentionally posting inflammatory takes) to increase attention to this matter or traffic to this blog. Whomever is posting these posts re: ICE is not using his brain, which is not unprecedented among attorneys, but to persist in this idiocy is particularly strange for someone allegedly highly educated.

For an SRPD non-disclosure claim? For a title insurance claim? For a partition action? For a breach of contract on agreements of the purchase agreements? to get out of a listing agreement? To review a construction financing contract? To get the EMD back on a builder purchase contract (good luck)? For litigation on a property line dispute? Do you have any more details? I’m asking because, for example, I do a lot of real estate cases but about 3/4 of these, and I know attorneys who only do one of these and some that do 5 of them.

Happy to help but as indicated: far too broad. Furthermore there are attorneys who review SRPDs and there are attorneys at LV versions of BIGLAW who put together land assemblages. Not the same lawyers.

“Analysis: ICE arrests are surging in Nevada–including of people with no criminal record.” This is 100% false. Everyone being arrested by ICE committed a crime the second their foot touched US soil. The left and media try to spin that as being okay because they were coming here looking for a better life. However, they still broke the law and, as such, are subject to being arrested by ICE. ICE isn’t arresting innocent people.

Believe it or not, they are lawyers. Law school is full of these FedSoc weirdos who confidently interrupt class to shout about their far right legal “theories” and very few law professors have the nerve to tell them to shut the fuck up and stop being an idiot. Then, they go and complain about being “thought minorities” and other such nonsense. No, they are real and we are doomed.

We didn’t say it’s not subject to deportation but for the love of god stop bleating that it’s a CRIME and they are CRIMINALS. You’re just flat wrong. And after you get called out on that then you try to pooh pooh it as though the very thing you keep incorrectly screaming is some unimportant technical detail.

Try researching the actual criminal implications of entering the country illegally.

There are criminal sanctions as well as civil and you, sis, are just plain wrong.
Try this:
8 USC §1325 and 1326
18 USC §1546
for starters.

These are crimes and not civil in nature.

Sigh…we went over this last week but apparently we need to say it again. Coming here “illegally” is a CIVIL offense, not a criminal offense. Hence, not a crime. Are you able to comprehend that? I’m not saying they are not subject to being detailed/deported but for crying out loud, stop falsely bleating that it’s a “crime.”

Wait what? § 1325 is a misdemeanor (Illegal entry into US) – while not a felony it most certainly is a crime (like speeding). If someone was previously deported and comes back again – it’s a whole ass felony – 8 U.S.C. § 1326,

And you are a lawyer?

Overstaying visa is not a criminal offense – but crossing the border illegal is absolutely criminal wtf

There is a distinction between entering illegally and being present without lawful authorization. Most who are deported entered lawfully but remained past their lawful authorization. The former (unlawful entry) is a crime; the latter is not.

Do you know where the felony comes in?
18 USC §1546.

I challenge you to find an illegal alien that does not misuse an identification document (for gaining employment or otherwise) that is not false or belongs to someone else.

Felony.

Also making a false statement on an asylum application.

Felony.

Having not been content with imposing a manifestly unqualified Interim US Attorney on Nevada, and having been unable to get her confirmed by a Senate that is willing to confirm a Republican ham sandwich, Trump now illegally seeks to continue to force this person on Nevada by pretending she’s the Acting US Attorney.

Sorry, President Dumbass. The US Attorney is appointed as Congress determines under Article I. It’s not an Article II issue.
