Yesterday’s comments about AG Ford’s were about his shortcomings as an administrator—how about his ability to read the room. The fake electors thing is going nowhere and no one cares. The people have spoken, drop it and move on to more important matters.

I don’t think it’s a matter of people not caring. It’s a matter of people have given up. This country has decided that indecency, racism, grift, and ego mean more than our democratic institutions and our human decency. I, for one, have given up. I voted, but I expected the orange id was going to win. I have little to no faith in my fellow man and I can only find a small bit of solace in the fact that I’m a childless cat woman and I will not be leaving this hellscape for my children to navigate.

Life is what you make it friend. I live in the same world you do and seem to be happy. Read some Emerson seriously and maybe focus more on self reliance and not external things that may not affect you as much as you think. Good luck to you.

10:50 here. Sorry if I sounded overly despondent. I’m generally happy. I like my life and I have pretty wonderful friends and family. I just don’t have faith in people overall and I am genuinely happy that as I grow older, I have no children. The world isn’t a great place right now. It seems like ignorance and fear govern.

@11:46 I haven’t written any manifestos yet. I will keep you apprised of my progress.

My Gen Z kids are all to the right of Glenn Beck. They are gun owners and have sufficient food and supply storage. The hellscape will be survived . . . .

Sure bruh. Sufficient food and supply storage? Where? In the fridge? I love modern prepper culture. Until you’ve hunted and caught a cute fuzzy bunny, twisted it’s head off, cleaned and gutted it, and cooked and ate it, I don’t think your right of Glenn Beck Gen Z-ers are prepared for anything remotely related to a hellscape. You’re definitely the target audience for Homestead.

In a country with twice as many guns as people, how long do we think all of the prepper goods being stored in Utah basements will really last?

We are all hunters. LOL. I shot, cleaned, skinned and stewed my first bunny at age 10 (circa summer 1979).

We will survive. I am sorry that you won’t.

Haven’t seen Homestead, might have to check it out. bruh.

Sure, you and your kids will survive. For about a week, until another “prepper” with more guns and ammo comes after your hoard. And they will. You are not as insulated as you delude yourself into believing.

Don’t assume that I am staying in Las Vegas. We are not.

But, you’re not completely wrong. It may not be enough.

But we will do the best that we can for as long as we can. I am not worried.

I just assume everything he does at this point he thinks will be good for his political aspirations. The AGs office is just his own personal campaign tool at this point.

Yeah…that’s pretty sad. I guess it’s only commuting the sentence and the guy has been on home confinement since covid anyways, but still. Wouldn’t have been a name on my list.

I read that all the people, such as Benzer, were not in federal prison anymore anyways because of COVID. I don’t think these people applied per se, rather it was just a group of folks that complied while out of federal prison because of whatever COVID release they received and all sentences were commuted. I don’t think Biden or someone reviewed each case and thought they were good people so he let them out of prison. That was my understanding of the article I read anyways.

Completely incorrect. Not all sentences related to the HOA Mafia were commuted. Benzer was the only one.

From AG Ford article:

“The charges relate to accusations that the Republican fake electors knowingly forged documents purporting to be the state’s true electors on Dec. 14, 2020. On that day, they held a symbolic ceremony outside the Legislature to “cast” their electoral votes for then-President Donald Trump, the same day that the state’s actual electoral votes were cast for Joe Biden.”

Really!?!? It is worthwhile to utilize taxpayer money on this political stunt??

Can’t wait till this man is out of the AGs office.

The stunt is that he wasn’t going to charge them and then his own party said they would not back him unless he did it. If it was wrong he would have charged sooner and in the right jurisdiction.

The “Developers of All Net Arena project sued by investors” story is a non-story because this is about the tenth separate lawsuit filed against Jackie Robinson. Tick has the blood on his hands of lots of investors and taxpayers who were ripped off by Robinson.

I’m not saying that these investors don’t have claims, but these kinds of projects are obvious lemons. Instead of fundamentals, they are driven by glitter and hype. Jackie Robinson’s notoriety isn’t as a successful businessman, but as an athlete. Because this is exciting, is lead by an athlete and is on the Strip it was supposed to be a good investment?

The probability of one of them being a suicide or accident is a million and a half to one; the probability of three suicide “accidents” in a row; it’s in the billions! It cannot happen, would not happen, you fucking momo! What’s the matter with you? Didn’t you see the HOA underlings were being wacked on the second death????

Get your objection in timely, make sure you participate in the arb in good faith (which means more than just going through the motions these days), and prepare to timely exempt fr the short trial program. Annoying hoops to jump through, but you can still get your case into district court.
