I’m really getting tired of all of the efforts LVMPD and the police union are undertaking to hide behind confidentiality. If you don’t want to be subjected to public scrutiny, don’t accept appointment to public offices or employment.
Also, don’t violate constitutional rights. Maybe consider even upholding them.

What a strange case. The city, county, and METRO actually argued against confidentiality vs. the union. What a stretch of an argument.
It’s not that strange. The CRB is an entity created by County and CoLV ordinance and funded by them so they are just defending their ordinance/department like the AG would defend the NRS. But suing LVMPD was weird because they aren’t responsible for the CRB, but it’s weirder still that it doesn’t look like LVMPD ever even filed anything.
So you disagree that its strange, but agree that it’s weird. Curious.

The Nevada Supreme Court could do this for Nevada. The problem with the ABA accreditation is not that they’re woke, it’s that for years they accredited any and every new law school. They have protected law school revenue over screening (admissions) standards that protect the public.
Admissions should be merit based. That has always been true. I’ve never heard a logical argument for elevation DEI over merit. DEI is a warped and perverted philosophy.
The ABA is a “paper tiger” on accreditation. They were sued and caved when marginal law schools fought back with litigation. I refuse to belong because they are so “woke” and advocate DEI. So many marginal law schools in California. The only thing that kept them in check was the bar exam and now California is adopting the NextGenUBE.
