District Court just responded to a public records request for records for the last three full years m, so up to 2025, showing how many cases each judge was assigned and how many each closed. Sine superstars have emerged. And the slackers are exposed. List coming soon. You will be offended how some get away with doing so little and how many, particularly judges in their first term, are getting hosed.

Don’t know who list was produced to. Assuming an investigative reporter following up on the disparity in workload.

Or a candidate looking for ammo against their opponent/sitting judge.
Some of whom should be worried.
Leavitt took a civil caseload only after she drew an opponent because she wanted P bar money.
One chief judge who likes to say she does chief work on top of her full time docket, has been assigned significantly fewer cases than her colleague so suggesting you’re doing chief work on top of comparable caseloads is so disingenuous.

Public records requests themselves are subject to public records requests, and thereby the identity of the requestor/recipient could be ascertained. Could also be used to request “the same documentation and information that you provided to Requestor X”

Always happy for data. But “cases opened/cases closed” is not the best statistic between criminal and civil, between general civil docket and business court.

Agreed but The date is broken down very very specifically. Categories under civil are numerous.
I suspect someone is working on a story so it’ll be made public at some point. Probably before the election.

Wolfson uses Letizia. Hendron uses Letizia. Not that difficult to follow.

Lance Hendron is a great guy but not sure of his chances. He would make a great JP.

Either it’s an insult to Barbara, a former DA, or Wolfson actually endorses who he likes and not just DAs

One thing I wish judges would keep in mind when ruling on motions to dismiss, even in part, is the value that cutting out some BS claims has in discovery and settlement. Federal judges have this one figured out way more than EJDC.
