World star in the house
$280 an hour, sheeeeiitttt. Ima turn round and sell em for triple.
$280 an hour for them not to turn their cameras when they beat up John Piro, just awful.
I didn't see any accounts where they 'beat up' John Piro. Did I miss it?
It was a joke.
The body can situation, when implemented, was a public relations approach to make METRO look more responsive and transparent.
But give with one hand, take away with the other.
It's a slap in the face of transparency and accountability to then turn around and greatly increase the prize.
This wouldn't be some big issue if it was increased from, let's say, $240. to $280. That's a supportable administrative/bureaucratic increase.
But to jump all the way from $48. to $280. results in holding up a neon sign announcing that they want to make it as difficult as possible for people to order such footage.
So, 9:40 is on the money.
Orrin had me for about half of his article. Then he get's into false equivalencies, like jury duty is the same as (or at least comparable to) people going to a restaurant. No. People who choose to go to a restaurant are doing just that – choosing. Being compelled by the government to congregate in an indoor room with a bunch of other random people during a pandemic is the government forcing that risk on someone that might have been hypervigilant about keeping their distance.
Dear Lord. Tried to access the Secretary of State's website, so I can renew stuff, get copies of stuff, etc.

Come on Metro, stop acting like a guilty party. If Metro doesn't like the scrutiny, how about better training, more restraint, less treating the public as the enemy to be controlled?
Our current Secretary of State is inept and needs to be replaced. A total disaster.
