Glad to see Bernie doing better. But do we really believe that Medicare picked up the tab? Or does "Medicare for All" really mean "Medicare for All . . . except Congress"?

Put Congress on Medicare before the election and even I'll vote Democratic!

Off Topic
I was going to buy a current copy of Thomson Reuters Nevada Handbook on Courtroom Evidence. The price is now over $500. Even though the advert says its designed to be used while in trial, the darn thing is over 400 pages.

Anybody know of a reasonable alternative?
BTW – another Thomson Reuters I refreshed my old copy of Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure. The price for that gem is over $200, but the quality of print is poor and the paper is so cheap and thin that some of the print bleeds through from the other side. Feeling ripped off.

What is the family court clerk's phone number? I've been calling 702-455-2590 and 2591 and no one EVER answers.

Those are the correct numbers. No, they aren't answered with any regularity.

Thank you. Good lord, I've probably called 50 times over the last week. Is one number more likely to be answered than the other?

I am 10:03A above and work at Family Court. No, neither number is more likely to be answered than the other. Those are public numbers. Your best bet is to contact a law clerk in your assigned department if you have a case specific question. A JEA may also be helpful. Or, head down the Clerk's office or send your runner. Ask to speak to a supervisor if the window clerk (all of whom are really good IMO) can't help you.

That's better than District Court … the Clerks would be good if they were allowed to do their jobs … there is so much micromanagement from the top (who all slept their way there) … no one can get anything done. I think the Courts are trying to either automate or dumb down many of the positions and phase out the older employees who have been there for a while. Unfortunately, things will get worse.

Trump tries to drain the swamp and the Demoncraps do anything possible to stop him.
Not suprising that none of the Democraps aren't interested in how Biden's kid got the cherry jobs and financing deals. Just like they weren't interested when Billy met Loretta Lynch at the Phoenix airport. Just like they weren't interested in the e-mails. Seth Rich. The list is endless. The party of the people is the party of the privileged. #fakeimpeachment #fakequidproquo

Whistleblower: Trump did the thing!
Trump: I didn't do the thing!
Trump (a day later): *Releases transcript showing he did the thing*
Trump (later that week): *Does the thing on live television*

Trumpettes: WOW HE'S VINDICATED!

I'm not sure I would use "vindicated" but the "inquiry" does look political in nature. I fault both parties for not doing my business, the people's business, instead of fighting all the time. But I will say this, I voted for Clinton and Obama and Clinton again. Not this time. At the very least i believe that Trump believes he is doing right. I cannot say that about Pelosi. I'm not 100% but I will probably vote Trump. If you have some intelligent input and not trolling, change my mind.

Saying an impeachment is inherently political is like saying a lawsuit is inherently legal in nature. Of course it's political. But it's the intended remedy for a despotic, lawless, power-abusing president. If you can't find any fault with this administration and will defend or excuse ample, egregious presidential misconduct simply because he is doing what he believes is right, then we're a lot worse off as a constitutional republic than I realized.

4:43,

At least 40% of the population cannot find a problem with Trump, perhaps more. Trump is a symptom of deeper and more complex problems. And yes, we are in real trouble.

But- MAGA!

4:13 here again. Not really. It has been my experience that when someone does what they believe to be right they are (by definition) motivated by principle. This can mean I have some hope their principle aligns with mine. It also means I can predict, and therefore know where I stand. When someone's motivation changes with the wind, (once again, by definition), it becomes more difficult to predict. To your other point about it being "political," your view is cynical as I would like to think Pelosi might be motivated by other than politics. As far as your faith in me, an unknown poster, this highlights the problem as I spoke truthfully and honestly and asked for some real thought and what I got was name calling the President. I doubt if I will vote based on an anon reply to my anon post, but it does kind of prove my point, where does all this anger come from. I'm a Democrat and consider myself progressive but give me a real reason to stay with the party of AOC and Pelosi. Thanks

I call bullshit on this. A progressive Democrat would not vote for Trump/Republican Party.

Yeah this is lazy trolling that doesn't warrant a response. LOL at thinking Trump is motivated by any "principle" beyond rote self-interest.
