Supreme Court entered an order in ADKT 0581, regarding what appearances are presumptively in-person and which are presumptively virtual. The order isn’t in the list of Administrative Orders yet, but it’s accessible through the docket number.

It’s worth a look.

Also, Happy Holidays, ya filthy animals.

Thanks for the heads up. What a great Christmas gift. Will be nice to have some consistency.

And not having to file appearance requests in some (one) courtroom… but imagine all the folks who have bought vacation homes based on cattle calls and sitting in court rooms waiting for a matter to be called.

I hate HOAs and have never and will never buy a house in one. BUT, if you live in an HOA then follow the rules.

Seems like the CCNR at issue vis a vis Christmas decorations and lights is vague and ambiguous.

Even if it is vague and ambiguous, the governing documents probably give to the HOA’s board the discretion to interpret the CC&Rs. So long as the interpretation is not wholly irrational, arbitrary, capricious, discriminatory, or made in bad faith, the interpretation would likely be upheld by a reviewing court.

I truly like this guy. But if you want to keep your license, don’t f*ck with an LDS federal judge in Idaho.

BS. This Judge is a Liberal psycho.

But, as for the “lawyer”. Don’t name call and MF the judge in your case to the media. Its a bad look all around.

No. This guy is presumptively LDS. 1) Grew up in Blackfoot Idaho (60% Mormon, likely higher back in the day). Went to Idaho State, then Harvard. Member of Board of Visitors of Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School.

He is listed as a democrat and was nominated as a federal Judge by Pres. Clinton. But this is Idaho, so even the blue side of things is mostly red.

There are still Mormon Democrats out there, even right here in Las Vegas. You might have even sat next to one in Sacrament Meeting last week! *gasp*

Nah. I read up on the guy. He overruled IDOC and forced them to pay for sex change surgeries for inmates. He has other “liberal psycho” rulings too.

I don’t care that he is liberal or Mormon or Democrat. I care that he makes BS rulings.

Either way, it takes a special kind of lawyer to call his judge names to the media.

‘This particular judge attempted to cancel Christmas,’ Morris told Fox News.

‘It’s no different than what King Herod did 2,000 years ago when he tried to stop the very first Christmas.’

10:10, do you go around making ridiculous comparisons like this? Of sitting judges?
