I generally think the R/J takes is secrecy stuff too far. But on this one? Yeah there is no legitimate basis for Israel closing the courtroom or the plea being taken in secret. Israel I would expect this crap from. SHJ I would have expected more from.
You know, they’re just lucky to actually get him in a courtroom instead of having him convert the hearing to in chambers and making them wait 5 months.
Trust in the judiciary is already at an all time low. Why add fuel to the fire?

i agree. Too many people think free liquor means get sloppy drunk and vomit. One of the worst afternoons of my life.

I appreciate Judge Lilly-Spells who starts off each hearing with her thoughts. Not necessarily a tentative ruling, but it’s obvious she is prepared.
