This person has acted this way for years and in fact has come on this blog and blasted people under her name. No amount of compassion or understanding has worked.
I’m just a caveman… your world frightens and confuses me.
But if you sign into the Odyssey portal, you can click on the Search Hearings button. One of the options is to search by judicial officer. Select Ganz as an option (it’s a list, start typing, and you’ll get it faster). Select the date. Hit Search.
Wait wait wait. So I was not there but I do know of an attorney at LBBS who has on at least two occasions screamed at Discovery Commissioners (Young once and Ganz once). Could she still be up to this behavior?
Ok, this is not surprising at all. That same attorney has a video on youtube somewhere yelling a a family court judge and “cursing like a sailor” per said family court judge.
I watched as much of the video as I could stomach. I felt sorry for the poor litigants. They are paying money for this? No one disliked Judge P more than I did and I am not fond of the male, opposing counsel. But the female attorney’s conduct was immature and unprofessional. “THE MEN GET TO SWEAR AND SO I CAN SWEAR TOO!” was her argument. How does she still have a job? This hearing was in 2020 and she is still acting like this?
Wow just Wow.
She was publicly reprimanded in December of 2024 for the same type of behavior. If Ganz refers her for today’s conduct, let’s hope the Bar actually does something.
She claims sexism in court in front of Pomrenze but then tells the Bar and the Nevada Supreme court it is okay to call opposing female counsel an
f. . . ing c. . . .
I glanced at the briefing for about 2-3 minutes, unwilling to spend additional time that I will not ever get back. About 45-50 pages of briefing regarding a depo date. A client is paying for this? I could never be a DC and sit there and listen to this petty BS.
When MC was in family law, she used to schedule in-person depositions between people who had protective orders against each other. How much of that was her boss and how much was her being a bird of the same feather is borne out in the bar discipline. Truly the stuff of the vexatious.
Amazing to me how quickly people on this blog rush to gossip. Anyone who’s ever had any dealing with Ganz, especially when he practiced, has wanted to tell him off lol. He was no saint during the hearing today.
Then why did Ganz’s most recent firm always bring this up during meet and confers on MILs for years if they had nothing to do with it? Seems a bit odd. I actually knew nothing about this until a meet and confer with his office about a decade ago when they brought it up when discussing potential MILs they’d be filing unless we agreed not to reference “medical mafia.”
Guess how many judges we each have ever wanted to tell off? Guess how many you can ethically tell to F Off? Whether you liked Ganz in private practice or not is irrelevant to how a lawyer is required to comport themselves in a hearing. Someone commented on Pomrenze above; she was a monster on the bench. But the video of Cramer showed Cramer being completely out of line. I happened to have been in front of the DC this morning and her behavior was once again completely out of line and frankly is hurting her own clients.
I dont know anyone involved but you’re coming off like you have something personal against this woman. A lot of you are. Are you this angered at the lawyers stealing their clients money because I never see anyone gossiping about that. I saw male lawyers condescend and yell at female judges one too many times but again. Crickets. So yes of course we should all keep composure in court but the personal vendetta against this particular woman in multiple posts here is borderline obsessive. And to answer another question above..yeah Ganz was
involved in the medical mafia stuff.
Incorrect and untrue. More angered at lawyers stealing client money. And when Craig Mueller walked out on Judge Newberry, people discussed extensively in here. People have discussed the (mis)behavior of Cramer’s former firm extensively (although much of that discussion got spiked over time). So if you have additional instances in which lawyers (of any sex) condescend and yell, shriek at or walk out on judges (of any sex), bring the instances here because that behavior is never appropriate.
However this is not coming across as personal beyond the fact that it appears many, many attorneys have experienced this same conduct. When people say Judges Hardy and Delaney are constantly late for the bench, is it personal or is it a widely experienced fact? Israel rules on motions that he clearly has never read; is it personal or is it a widely experienced fact? There is a common experience that practitioners have had with this attorney, apparently in family law and now insurance defense, that shows that this behavior is not a one off.
Awesome: Ganz was implicated in the Kabins stuff over a decade ago; that certainly justifies an attorney violating the NRPC and EDCR in front of the judge.
Nah you’re coming across as obsessed lol. I’m making general comments and you want a dissertation on my experiences. Get over yourself. I come on here a few times year to get a vibe and it’s always a hot mess of gossip. Or people like you take these little bits of words and phrases and try to make it seem like this is an in depth conversation. And in general it’s not just you that keeps harping on this lawyer but you sure do seem to take the most offense to my take. Me thinks he doth protest too much! And I never said being part of the medical mafia excused treating him a certain way. I answered someone else’s question wondering if he was. You probably jump to conclusions all the time huh?
I never read all of the comments, and I have never met this person. Nothing in any of the comments sounds “personal” or “obsessed.” Just sounds like a lot of people describing this person being out of line. Sounds like a pattern of behavior.
“[B]ring the instances here because that behavior is never appropriate.”
Or… or… and just hear me out here, report it to the State Bar if you were the subject of an attorney’s misconduct. The judiciary could also do a whole heck of a lot better of a job doing the same, especially at the discovery level. They fail to sanction misconduct, when they do limit it to attorney’s fees, and then fail to report the most egregious or repeated misconduct. They’re the front lines for reporting, but no…
Is it just me, or has the overall quality of paralegals and legal assistants out there really gone down over the last five or six years? No ability to follow instructions. Lack of attention to detail, etc. I hate to sound like a di*k, but I find that I h e to repeat myself three or four times, and even then the work comes back full of mistakes or not done as I had asked. It isn’t just one person; it seems like a trend. Maybe I’m just waxing nostalgic about things that never were, but I feel like I had some great ones 10-20 years ago. Something is missing today. Sorry for the rant.
Here in a public office – we have excellent staff and many have been with us for more than a decade. Solid, quality support staff. No idea what it is like in private practice anymore.
OP here. I’ve certainly supervised many law clerks, paralegals, legal assistants and secretaries (we used to have those) in 35 years, including a few who were with me for a decade or so, so i’m pretty confident in saying that I’m not the one who has changed.
OP here. I’ve certainly supervised many law clerks, paralegals, legal assistants and secretaries (we used to have those) in 35 years, including a few who were with me for a decade or so, so i’m pretty confident in saying that I’m not the one who has changed.
Here’s what you do. Find disbarred attorneys to be your paralegals. They are great. They actually know how to do everything, you still supervise them of course, so there is no risk, and they come cheap because they usually need the work. At least cheap for someone with their skills. It’s like getting a capable associate for 80% off.
Hire a disbarred attorney, assume the risk for his or her basis for disbarment. You’re on notice. Personally, if the attorney was disbarred, then something suggested their lack of respect for their ethical duties and they would have no place in my office.
I think it is hard to generalize. Certainly you would have to keep close tabs on the person and not let them have access to bank accounts or credit cards.
If they were behind the scenes, with no client contact, no third party contact and had no access to anything financial related it could work quite well. The disbarred attorney finds a living, the firm finds a capable law clerk/paralegal, the client gets served at a discount.
Absolute facts. Right here. It is in fact, a very expensive paralegal. But one that can do 80-85% of what a very experienced associate. Speaking from personal experience.

Looks like Renee Finch switched to Plaintiff’s work.
I wonder how she’ll be received after spending the last 5-10 years being such a ball buster to the plaintiff’s bar. I wonder if the defense bar will use her old briefs and trial transcripts against her and to their advantage? She had a “script” she used to use, same in every case.
Tony Hsieh will? https://www.reviewjournal.com/business/tony-hsieh-left-a-will-new-filing-says-long-after-tech-moguls-death-3353484/?utm_campaign=widget&utm_medium=latest&utm_source=homepage&utm_term=Tony%20Hsieh%20left%20a%20will%2C%20new%20filing%20says%20long%20after%20tech%20mogul%E2%80%99s%20death
“Never mind.”
Did someone pick him up hitchiking in the desert between here and Tonopah?
Wow very inappropriate behavior by a female LBBS attorney in front of the discovery commissioner this morning.
You gotta give us more details than that!
Yeah way too cryptic! We need details here. If not names then at least a description.
Yelled at him at the top of her lungs and then logged off before he was finished talking/before the hearing was finished.
Par for the course for LBBS.
Don’t know the particulars of the situation, but I have certainly wanted to give a DC or two a piece of my mind.
I am not excusing her behavior, but this sounds like someone who is not well. Compassion and accountability are not mutually exclusive.
This person has acted this way for years and in fact has come on this blog and blasted people under her name. No amount of compassion or understanding has worked.
I mean the new DC is unfit for the position. Thank god he was not elected or appointed to the bench.
Search hearings on Odyssey today to see who had a case in front of the discovery commissioner
I upvoted this, but I also have no idea how to do this. (I am under 50 years old; the website confuses the crap out of me)
I’m just a caveman… your world frightens and confuses me.

It’s a bold strategy Cotton, let’s see if it pays off for her.
But in all seriousness, can the DC not sanction attorneys for unprofessional conduct? I honestly don’t know what powers they do and don’t have.
I can forgive her for yelling at Ganz. But not Young or Truman.
Initials RS? A partner or an associate?
MC
Ok, this is not surprising at all. That same attorney has a video on youtube somewhere yelling a a family court judge and “cursing like a sailor” per said family court judge.

Wow just Wow.
Served four years in the US Air Force as a Commanding Officer–may explain her attitude.
LOLOL MC??? Shockkkkking
that woman is a liability
I am the one who said that I was aware of the LBBS Attorney yelling at Ganz once and Young once. And that is her. She is still up to that.

Maybe Our Nevada Judges can spend less time using her as a guest host and more time putting her hearings up for public scrutiny.
Wait this is an *associate*??? I just assumed it was some partner that was too juiced to dump. How has she not been fired yet?
I think we had a case against a client she represented many years ago in family court. Same ol’ same ol’. Same behavior then.
Clark County discovery dispute resolution process is a mother loving joke.

replies: “I called you a fucking cunt Karen.” State Bar’s Opening Brief
that is just the beginning of this woman’s unprofessional behavior
How could someone with the middle name of “Moonblossom” use such language in polite company?
Yeah! Talk dirty to me!
Well she was a Karen.
really outrageous conduct
Read the State Bar’s Opening Brief (yes, my life is limited). Why is this kind of conduct tolerated? Nice legal system you have there Nevada.
Says Michancy’s blowup was with Ganz this morning. He will sanction and will refer to the SBN.
I glanced at the briefing for about 2-3 minutes, unwilling to spend additional time that I will not ever get back. About 45-50 pages of briefing regarding a depo date. A client is paying for this? I could never be a DC and sit there and listen to this petty BS.
Her cohort scheduled depositions on Christmas Day. He was suspended for 90 days.
But vowed to never come back to practicing law.
Would be a Blessing to all.

Wasn’t he wrapped up in all that medical mafia stuff back in the day, with that doctor that performed all the unnecessary spine surgeries?
Ganz wasn’t involved in this. He actually opened his own practice at the time this was going on.
Because there was no connection and they wanted to make sure that you were so dirty as to try to bring it up.

What is the medical mafia?
google Eglet Vannah Kabins Gage las vegas medical mafia
This response is the key…Ganz was at the firm with Vannah at the time, but he wasn’t actually involved in these allegations.

The ones who have been around the block are infinitely more knowledgeable that the newer ones.
Isn’t that just a tautology? LeBron James knows a lot more about playing in the NBA than Victor Wembanyama does.
Frankly sounds like it is just you. If the problem is with every paralegal you have dealt with over the last 5-6 years, then you’re the problem.
