I don’t think I can watch the body camera footage. Also wondering if am I the only one who remains completed gutted by this incident.

The video shows the outside of the building, the halls and elevators. There is no video of the interior of the suite of Prince Law Group.
It’s still very disturbing to see all the people in shock and tears. I wish I hadn’t watched.

The RJ excerpt shows the ceiling of the conference room and you can hear cops say we found the shooter.
Feel for the Page family and the children. This has to be hardest on them.
Pain and suffering is difficult to measure and the nuances on a scale wouldn’t matter anyway. There is enough heartache here to make even the casual observer sad. Not sure of the value of comparing.

This happened because attorneys on both sides were to close to the litigation.. they were family. Couple that with Attorneys that wanted to win more than anything else… even if it destroys kids. Meanwhile there remains family law attorneys that will lie! permit false allegations! and coach clients to make just the right statements to increase litigation costs and continue litigation. Fellow attorneys and family court judges all know who engages in the practice of increased wealth over following the Rules of Professional Conduct… but almost everyone turns a blind eye.
VIEWER WARNING: They have spot-shadowed the gore but you do see officers go into the room. You see the video board. You see them announce Houston as a “413” (man with gun) and 405 (suicide). They describe in detail the scene in the room. For those of us who have been to the suite, you can absolutely picture the scene from the video
RJ out with a story on Houston/Prince that includes video from Henderson’s courtroom. Henderson got this right: the messages are beyond appalling.

No offense but this quote in the article is extremely rich: ““The incident with Joe Houston, I’m surprised it hasn’t happened before,” attorney Michancy Cramer told the Review-Journal. “And I’m surprised it doesn’t happen more frequently. . . . Cramer said that from her perspective, Family Court has turned into “a tool of abusers,” where judges don’t “have the fortitude to tell people no.” Contentious cases can drag on for years, spurred by attorney-driven litigation. . . . “Contentious is one word for it — it’s out of control,” she said.”
Are you kidding me? This attorney is/was one of the biggest offenders of making cases extremely nasty including her former affiliation with the attorney who is the biggest offender in Family Court. I cannot believe the RJ used her as the Family Court attorney to speak against nastiness and inciting violence in Family Court. Pot, here is a mirror before you call the Kettles black.
I don’t know man, Michancy isn’t trying to kill anybody but thanks for suggesting it’s her fault anonymously. That’s courageous of you. Family court is a cesspool, they’re all vicious because that’s what family court allows. Dennis didn’t deserve to die and Joe was better than that. This whole situation is tragic and the entire family court process could use a reboot.

Ben- Nobody suggested that it was her fault what occurred in Prince v. Houston. What was suggested by Family Court practitioners was that she publicly took the position that Family Court is a cesspool of hostility and attorneys stoking the fires and that she was one of the worst offenders down there of these tactics. What the poster above suggests (accurately) is that the first step to cleaning up the system is that we as attorneys clean up our own acts. Want Family Court to stop consisting of nasty thuggery and personal attacks between attorneys? Each attorney should start with their own cases and conduct.
