I like both candidates but I think Dawn will bring a fresh approach and have diligence moving cases along. We know what we had with Gonzalez years ago. It wasn't horrible but he was voted out of the same job he wants again. We don't need that again. Jimmerson is backing Dawn and his name carries a lot of weight.

Gonzalez is a nice guy, but wasn't great on the bench. Throne is sharp and knows what she's doing. We need that on the bench in family court so I'm supporting Throne.

Love Dawn, she's a great person and would work hard.

Throne.

That said, if Gonzalez wins he should not again be set up for failure by assigning him to general assignment Family Law cases. If he is again assigned there, he may struggle somewhat as he did the last go round.

Instead, considering his decade of experience as a Public Defender in the Juvenile Division, place him in Juvenile Court and I think he would be fine.

I've worked with both of them many moons ago. There is no competition. Dawn is far superior both intellectually and as a genuinely nice person.
