With ballots set to start arriving in mailboxes next week, it’s time to talk about the contested judicial races featured on that ballot. We welcome your comments on the qualifications of the candidates as well as any information you can offer to help voters make an educated decision. Just remember to keep your comments appropriate and try to avoid defamation.
For District Court Judge, Department W, the candidates are:
- Rincon White, Adriana
- Rocheleau, Stacy Michelle
What are your thoughts on the race in this department?
This one is a very close call. Adriana gets my vote. She bring the diversity to the bench and that is good. She has a lot of Dem support. Stacy has more family law experience though. This one is hard to pick but I know both candidates and Adriana as a hearing master right now has the edge.
I've had a couple cases with Stacy's office and I've taken over a couple cases she's handled. Based on that alone, I would NEVER vote for Stacy. She'll be a nightmare on the bench. Add to that, Adriana has a lot of experience and has a much better temperament. Adriana White gets my vote.
I am undecided in this race, but I am curious about the above post. I have had a few cases over the years with Stacy's office and have not had a bad experience. Was Stacy handling these cases, or another associate? What about her would make her a nightmare on the bench?
I am before White regularly. She seems intent on creating problems on nearly every occasion. I know Stacy personally and have no reason to suspect she would be a poor candidate.
Stacy is the far superior choice to anyone who has any experience in Family Law.
Adriana is the far superior choice to anyone who has any experience in family law
Watching the debate between them both I have to say Adriana White is very well spoken and what she has to say is what I would want to experience if I ever ended up in family court.
Stacy hands down. She has the experience in family law. Adriana looks like a very young lawyer.
