With ballots set to start arriving in mailboxes next week, it’s time to talk about the contested judicial races featured on that ballot. We welcome your comments on the qualifications of the candidates as well as any information you can offer to help voters make an educated decision. Just remember to keep your comments appropriate and try to avoid defamation.
For District Court Judge, Department T, the candidates are:
- Cutter, Nadin
- Stoffel, Jason
What are your thoughts on the race in this department?
Stoffel will win a close one but Nadine is putting up a good fight. She needs more experience.
Every case I have ever had where Stoffel is on the other side his office just seems to throw crap on the wall to see what sticks. He doesn't seem to do much of the work – mostly his paralegal, and he'll show up to hearings seemingly not having even read his own pleadings. I can't imagine how he'll be on the bench where he has to read pleadings from both sides.
I'm a Republican as is Stoffel and you'd think that would sway me his way, but nope – not happening.
In this case, whether I'm voting for Cutter or against Stoffel, the answer is the same – my checkmark is on the Cutter side.
There are no good choices here. 10:48 is on point in describing Stoffel, but Cutter is just as bad. She's dishonest, rude, and been sanctioned for incompetence. I'll hold my nose and vote for Stoffel, but we really should have had another option here. I know a lot of people who would be better judges than these two.

Seems that Jason's supporters believe that his best qualification is simply that he is not Nadin.
That is enough in and of itself. There were a litany of comments that accurately described Nadin's lack of veracity and sanctionable conduct. I have to admit that I am very disappointed that a number of the comments from people yesterday describing experiences with Nadin were taken down as they were spot on. However it is not my Blog so I will defer to those people who do run the blog.
Blogmaster has puzzled me with certain deletions in the past, but like you said, it's not our blog and some people take such reports seriously.
I have noticed in past blogs when asked about Stoffel and Cutter, many of the anti-Cutter posts are removed. And none of the posts were in any way rude, or offensive.
Nadin Cutter, Jason Stoffel is a Trumper.
Then I must vote Stoffel to make Dept T great again!
