I have been in a case with a vexatious litigant with a pre-filing injunction for over a year in federal court, seems like the vexatious determination is meaningless when courts still wait till after discovery to rule on simple motions to dismiss.
This could be recency bias but the holidays were oddly busy with the messed up Wednesday break and then this month felt like one of the busiest and most stressful of my career.
Out of market, but does anyone have any recommendations for family law attorneys in Salt Lake City (or thereabouts)?

Kristy Hanson in Provo is one of the top up there. I don’t know if this is still the case, but it used to be hard to even get on her calendar.
T (period) Matthew Phillips declared a vexatious litigant.
Falconi and Dan Waite FTW.

This is why discovery should not be allowed to commence with an MTD pending. It’s a waste of time and effort.
The severe drop-off in commenting on this blog makes me think that maybe a lot of regular commenters were attorneys with federal government jobs.
That’s funny. I needed the laugh.
Or it’s Friday and a bunch of city and county attorneys have four day work weeks.
4:21 here. There were even fewer comments on this blog yesterday, Thursday.
I suspect people are just exhausted with this January being the longest month in existence.
