Sometime in last day or two, the page view counter rolled over 8,000,000 total page views. What does that mean? Not much really—other than some of you like us enough to come back over and over and over again. Those 8 million views over the 12 years and 4 months of our existence includes 2,819 posts and over 80,900 comments (not including all 3,647,894 3,647,895, 3,647,896 comments that have been thwacked over the years). It took almost 4 years to get our first million views in February 2015 and we added a little over 2 million views in the last 2 years since celebrating 10 years of the blog. Thanks again for reading and commenting.

I spent a lot of billable hours on those 3.6M comments and I don’t appreciate your cavalier disregard of my hard work and creativity.
Comment of the year right there.
Has anyone learned why the state bar website down?
WTH is going on with the SBN website. Its been weeks.
I used the CLE section yesterday
Perhaps Ransomware… this just in, bar dues are increasing.
Try deleting cookies for that website. That helped with one issue I had last week.
Is the watch dealer trying for a nuisance settlement? How exactly is Tropicana responsible for someone driving into their valet pick-up area and strong arming their way into a car that has breakable glass windows, hitting the guy, and stealing his stuff, and driving off? Were they supposed to have armed security guards out front for everyone that gets into cars? Is Uber supposed to require all driver's to drive big trucks with bulletproof glass and cattle pushers to ram their way through someone's van that boxes them in? AND – why would someone carrying $1M in stuff get in a freaking Uber instead of hiring a secure transport? You think Tropicana sends their employees in an Uber to deposit $1M in case into a bank? Come one.
Come two.
Was he there as part of a watch or jewelry show that was taking place? Thefts under those circumstances are known to occur frequently. There was one in California a few years back where a truck was followed and then hijacked from a rest stop or gas station with millions of dollars worth of watched and jewelry inside. So I guess if I were representing the Plaintiff and that was the case, my argument would have been that security should have been stepped up because this kind of theft is known to occur frequently under these circumstances. Also, was there a record of strongarm robberies taking place in the valet/rideshare area? You would have to find something that would lead to notice under the Doud v. Hilton case. Where Uber comes into this I do not know.
Of course, American tort law is no longer about holding the tortfeasor liable, it's about finding the closest deep pocket and extorting it for money.
Have fun getting drunk with people you hate!
Second place comment of the year.
Thank you, 10:18. I just laughed out loud!
I love the Sibella comment. With guys like this the bombshell is always "coming soon." We're two weeks away from being two weeks away.
That's as long as it takes the news cycle to move on, and you can make more outrageous claims to cover the next two weeks.
The case against the State Bar of Nevada is "coming soon" too. One day.
2 weeks away from 2 weeks to slow the spread
Blog is alive and going 💪
I can't tell you how pleased I am that the Blawgmaster used the term "thwack" IN the post heading.
Absolutely made my day.

Holy hell.
Boyd, 2022.
He was on my mock trial team literally last year. Shared a hotel room with him. I am not surprised by the news.

"I am not surprised by the news." Shut the front door, 9:41 PM. People say this all the time when somebody gets arrested. Did you see him looking at child porn on his phone or what?
IDK man. The info in 941s post is pretty specific, enough to dox himself if you are familiar. I tend to believe it.
I'm not saying he wasn't on mock trial with him. I'm saying it is so ridiculous to listen to these people say, "Yeah, that doesn't surprise me" when someone they know is arrested for murder or a pedo crime. How can that not surprise you???? And how did you see it coming???
Poor social skills, aggressive infidelity and an massive ego? You just described half the bar.
