Blog is quarantined.
I'm the old retired guy in St. George that visits the blog from time to time. Up here there is a large Mormon population that emphasizes saving, food supplies, etc. and no one seems too concerned about the Coronavirus (sp?). Also, because we are relatively isolated. I just wondered if Vegas has suffered any anxiety because of the potential virus outbreaks? – SGWW
People are stocking up on water and toilet paper, lining up and emptying the Costcos. Beyond that, who knows. Everyone appears to be going about their business as normal.
I was eating at a food court at a Las Vegas shopping mall on Saturday and not one person was wearing a surgical mask. I was thinking that had we been in Seattle or New York, things could have looked substantially different.
I'd like to see how one wears it while eating LOL.
Insight to Randall Tindall as short trial judge? Thanks.
I have seen him as a small claims judge a couple of times. He seems pretty bright and seems to make the right decisions when I watch other cases called. No idea how good he is with evidentiary and procedural issues, which do not come up the same way in small claims.
NIGHTMARE. Avoid at all costs. 9:31 is definitely Randy.
I've only met him once, but I recall peers and more senior attorneys saying that Tindall is a "true believer." In other words, he isn't working for the defense just for the money. He really believes that 99% of PI plaintiffs are fakers and scammers. So if that's true, and you had a short trial involving a PI case, you are probably not going to want to be in front of him.
Like I said, this is all second-hand. Take it for what it's worth.
I could not disagree with 11:36 more. I’ve been co-defense counsel with Mr. Tindall and have also seen him on the bench. In my experience, he has extraordinary knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and recent case law. He also is even-tempered and ethical, which is rare in our current environment.
