How’s everyone handling gay Pride Month? Just a one-time celebration in the office or a month’s activities?

This is something you wrestle with?

Not wrestle. To be really frank I don’t want to offend anyone in either direction and I’m not clear on the politics, law, etc. Just looking to avoid conflict my friend.

Just do what I do, nod and smile. If anyone offers a comment to which you absolutely must respond, say something like “hmm, I never really thought of it that way”.

These days, the less said the better.

62 years of unblemished heterosexuality; but hey, maybe I’ll ‘handle’ it by trying something new. It’ll be a one-time ‘celebration in the office’. I don’t know if I could stomach those ‘activities’ for a full month.

Participating in pride month activities doesn’t mean you have to have gay sex. I’m really sorry you’ve been participating in pride month wrong all this time.

I find Wheaton’s Law works well in these situations.

For every day, my office is celebrating a different gender identity. Tomorrow is 2-spirit day

Well Wednesdays in my office are always Furry days, so nothing has really changed for us.

I’m handling it by maintaining silence and tolerating everything except that which immediately threatens my safety or the safety of my family. I don’t engage nor do I react to what people say or do, no matter how offensive the comment or action.

Handling it the same way I handle pride the other 11 months of the year: doing legal work for our firm’s LGBTQ+ clients.

I think he is referring to the DHS snatching up the Colorado terrorist’s family and holding them in detention as a result of the terrorist’s actions. All of them are Egyptian nationals, not US citizens.

We do not live in a democratic republic. We live in a very clearly defined Constitutional Republic. There is a difference.

A republic is defined by having a government by representation. Pray tell, how are those representatives selected?

Just the other day I was thinking about how fun the blog used to be in the days of the BK Hottie before everyone got so damn sensitive about everything.

I’m not sensitive about the “BK Hottie.” It’s just kind of lame, repetitive and boring. But you do you.

It was not repetitive and boring when she came to life in about 2010. It was hilarious.

You are all welcome.

Anybody noticing that more and more, their clients are second-guessing their advice because ChatGPT told them to?

Yes. I tell them go ahead, but don’t call me when you get a legalzoom result. It’s always good to go on a cleanse here and there.

All the time! They lecture me on what ChatGPT told them and even give me case citations. They then pay me double because they pay me the first time to give them the skinny, then they email me to tell me why ChatGPT says I am wrong and then pay me again to explain to them why ChatGPT either is not correct or is not applicable.
