He was the "King of Clubs" on Playboy TV in 2009/10, letting his son manage his own strip club, who is better qualified?

Generally, I don't find long hauling to be an issue in Vegas, but having an alternative to waiting for a cab would be way better than standing in long lines. Nevertheless, as I'm a local and I drive everywhere, I'm just concerned that Uber might hurt the taxi industry. Additionally, as a lawyer, I'm concerned that the Uber X drivers won't have sufficient insurance if/when they are involved in an accident.

Good point re: insurance. However, at certain times of day regular cabs won't even show up for a puny fare when they can collect 50 bucks per head kickbacks taking tourists to strip clubs plus their fare and a tip. At least Uber will show up.

Yes, Russian, Pakistani and Iraqui cab drivers cutting off locals in traffic, honking at us, or shoving a faceful of snatch in our kids' faces from the cab bumper ads…you say there is a better alternative? Bring it! Uber likely won't be running cocaine or prostitution out of their vehicles either. Time to clean up our transportation in Vegas!

I visit Seattle and San Francisco frequently and regularly use Uber and Lyft. Both are superior car services to anything I've used in Vegas. Uber and Lyft are simply a better car service. The corrupt cab industry deserves to die.
