Audrie Locke is Wolfson's spokeswoman, is she the one who stole his campaign money, and she was never prosecuted? Yeah, let's elect him judge.

"First Transit's liability for Harvey's death presented a close issue. The jury verdict was not unanimous; two of the eight jurors would have given a different result."

In other words: "Thanks Jury for giving the citizens of Nevada 9 days. We appreciate your opinion but we're going to change the law and disregard your work. Only 6 of 8 of you agreed with the result and that means something. Besides, we're assholes and there is nothing you can do about it."

The new kids are the dissenters along with Stiglich, who broke with Hardesty, for once. Settling instructions with Miley must have been a circus. No explanation of where the decedent got the sandwich he choked to death on. Sad case……but if he was that badly off, maybe he should not have been on the bus alone?

I can't believe there isn't more discussion here or nationally about the RNC's move to essentially block any potential primary contest. This is the type of stuff you read about in history books during the years leading up to an autocracy.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

You mean like the NV GOP's move to essentially poll the State Committee members in order to award all of NV's delegation to Trump in September, far in advance of the actual rank-and-file members casting a preference?

Seems like that should be considered holding a caucus in advance of the Iowa caucus, and half the delegation should be stricken, per RNC rules. But the RNC is falling over themselves to kiss the ring of Trump. Why, I still don't know.

I honestly think it's self-preservation. They (the bulk of Rs) know he has a huge public reach and know that he's petty and won't hesitate to attack you personally if you don't toe the line.

People who hire Chesnoff and Schonfeld can usually get away with anything because the DA's office is so quick to negotiate a deal with their office…. luckily not this time, Gragson.

Does anyone had a link to the new statute in effect in October regarding Rule 35 exams?

Weygant drug informant murder case bargain down to battery- cause of death issues? Guy bailed out for $3k. (Case they said William Gamage esq harbored evidence in – I think there is confidential bench warrant on him – no show according to channel 5 and court records.
Ozzie Fumo said plea deal unusual. I’m not familiar with psilocybin but 17 grams would be a lot of lsd.

Work has frazzled me so much that the email notification sound gives me PTSD. I am only half kidding. Mommas, don't let your babies grow up to be lawyers.

3:51 – I know you're being partially facetious, but in all seriousness, get some help. Talk to a counselor. Get medication for depression or anxiety. I was ready to burn out after 2 years but once I got some counseling and medication I'm SO MUCH BETTER.

For anyone else feeling the same way, get help. It's 100% worth it.

I do this when our firm gets another motion from Ackerman, who is nasty in their name calling of our attorneys to be macho lawyers for no reason. Seems like this is how they litigate.

Our firm has had several cases with Akerman. They are mean. The only one I like there is Natalie Winslow. She is a nice lady. And you are right, they are encouraged by partners, namely Brenner, to play games and go after other attorneys.

Darren Brenner made a pass at my girlfriend when she worked with him at Akerman.
