Ditto. CPA always does the majority of individual W-2 earner tax filings in March/April, files extensions for most business owners, and does them after the individual filings are done.

Still . . . . I HATE writing that check today, as I always do. Today was bad.
But I guess the trade off is that last year was awesome.

Matt Dushoff is in hospice care. His wife is trying to present him with a letter that has arrived each day from near and far. Preferably something to make Matt smile if not laugh. The mailing address is 2892 Grande Arch St., Henderson, NV 89044.

Recommendations for a disability/workplace accommodations lawyer? I have a friend who was recently diagnosed with a disease that necessitates accommodations but their employer is refusing to do anything. It’s way outside of my wheelhouse, if anyone has names I can pass along I’d appreciate it.

To all those who need help, reach out before it is too late. Mental health is an issue that affects everyone. God speed!

An observation: Those whose lives include ongoing quiet generosity, kindness, service and humility rarely seem to be burdened by deep mental health struggles. Perhaps there is a correlation between mental health struggles and an overemphasis on self.

This is the kind of toxic bullshit that keeps people from achieving and maintaining mental health. If you, like me, have sojourned with mental health issues, let me assure you that 9:04 AM’s comment comes from a place of profound, naive sanctimony.

Sometimes people suffer mental health issue because they are so deeply committed to virtues like kindness and generosity they lose balance in their life. Sometimes people suffer mental health issue because of trauma inflicted on them by forces and people beyond their control. Sometimes people suffer mental health issues because of genetics and/or natural chemical imbalances.

We don’t know why a particular person may be suffering. But what we do know is that if you see someone who seems out of sorts, and is perhaps even a little unkind, the BEST and only response is to be KIND.

Get over yourself, 9:51. No wonder you’re such a hot mess. The “chemical imbalance” theory has been thoroughly debunked. Even the pill companies aren’t trying to sell that nonsense any more. Where have you been? So called anti-depressant medication is at-best a band-aid. It has no end game and it doesn’t solve the root cause of depression.

Similary, medicating young boys with speed is no behavioral solution and is immensely harmful in the long term. It’s simply a lazy poultice developed by the medical and pharmaceutical industries.

Yeah, and aspirin doesn’t cure the source of headaches either.

Yeah, 9:51. Maybe if you were a little more kind, you would feel something inside. Maybe if were more generous, you wouldn’t struggle to find motivation for the simplest tasks. If you would just be a source of hope, you wouldn’t feel so hopeless inside. I mean, have you even tried not being sick?

Let’s get some rational thought going on here. Those that are narcissistic are more prone to mental health issues but not all (or even perhaps any) with mental health issues relate to narcissism. Just my 2 cents.

I can’t believe Tom Cruise is read and posting to this blog. Like your movies Tom, but not taking mental health advice from you.

Tom Cruise knows the cause of mental health problems. Tom Cruse can help, but you’d need to pay for an audit first.
