Concerning the New York Attorney General, the devil is in the details. Both sides agree that sexual relations were consensual, but the controversy seems to surround the use of physical aggression. He appears to claim it was some sort of kinky, S &M role playing. But the women all insist that in all aspects of life, whether during sex or at all other times as well, that he, in addition to being extremely verbally abusive, would be extremely physically aggressive as well–busting them in the mouth, etc.

It appears there is more support for the position that he was, around the clock, an abusive and demeaning S.O.B. I don't buy his excuse that it was just kinky role playing. The fact some of them returned to the abuse, or decided to remain in the relationship, is one of the tragic hallmarks of being a victim of such abuse.

"serious allegations, which I strongly contest"

I think we can all agree that the strongest way to contest allegations of wrongdoing is to resign your prestigious position as a state attorney general within hours of the allegations being made public.

Does anyone know how to help homeowners when the neighbor goes to the planning commission to get a short-term rental permit, but skirts the HOA and the CC&Rs? I see from the planning commission agenda, they are leaning toward granting it. How do homeowners defend?

Regardless of what the planning commission does, the homeowner must still comply with the Association's CC&Rs. If short-term rentals are in violation of the CC&Rs, the Association can fine the owner. This can be difficult to track and enforce, but can be effective.

I would be pissed if there was a party house in my neighborhood.
