Trump will sweep everything but Texas…
You're probably right. While I don't particularly like Marco Rubio, I do agree with him that Donald Trump is a con artist. The Republicans had an opportunity and blew it. It was right there for the taking. It would have invigorated the party like nothing since Reagan in 1980. They could have nominated Rand Paul; and they didn't.
I'm no great fan of Hillary but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I enjoy watching these chickens come home to roost. This is Goldwater in '64 all over again. The GOP is going to get creamed for nominating The Donald — and they deserve everything they get.
Actual Republicans are not nominating The Donald. For the most part, I believe that it's a bunch of folks that registered as republicans (of declared themselves to be republicans) just to participate in these primaries/caucuses so they could vote for The Donald.
Agreed with 12:04. The people in the Trump Mob are not Republicans. They are feeble minded bigots who lust for an authoritarian figure to place them (and the rest of the country) into submission.
12:46 is probably a socialist Bernie lover. I think Bernie will finish 2nd place for the Democratic nomination…
12:04 – If someone is registered as a Republican and votes in a Republican primary, how is he or she not a "actual" Republican? Serious question.
Trump's lead is far too wide for your conspiracy theory to be plausible.
My theory: the Republican Party has been this dumb and hateful all along. It's members have simply gotten tired of outwardly pretending not to be this dumb and hateful.
Now whose theory is more plausible, mine or yours?
3:24, simple answer to your question. 75,000 "republicans" voted in this year's caucus, while only about 33,000 voted four years ago. Those approximately 40,000 votes went to Trump.
And really "dumb and hateful," how misguided you are.
… and, to further explain, say I'm a conservative registered republican, yet I am free to register as a democrat and vote in the democratic caucus, even though I'm actually quite conservative. It's actually quite easy to accomplish, I just have to same-day register at a democratic caucus location near my residence. This could also work for independents. Does that clear things up for you 3:24?
Trump is EXACTLY what the Republican party of Faux News and Kock brothers and Scott Walker and Sarah Palin and the rest of the idiots are all about, blaming Trump on Democrats is EXACTLY why you have Trump as your frontrunner, Rubio/Cruz as your second place dumbasses.
Lets hear all those reasons again – you know, other than he was black – that Republicans said disqualified Obama for the presidency. No experience. One term senator. Running for president while holding another elected office. Community organizer. Yeah, none of those apply to your idiot frontrunners.
Just comical, republicans are branded the party of hate by liberals, yet the only person spewing hate, rhetoric, and name calling is not a republican.
To take 3:24's question, whose theory is more plausible?
You forgot "dumb," although your response made that perfectly obvious.
Trump is exactly what registered Republicans seem to want. It stresses logic to think that so many Democrats would switch sides for the sole purpose of trying to muddy-up the Republican primaries. Trump's lead is simply too big.
Even the AM radio conservative talk show hosts have gotten on board.
Like I said, this is what Republicans want: a guy who validates their fears about Muslims, Mexicans, and women and doesn't confuse the voter with policy positions. The rank and file Republican voter wants something he or she can understand; Trump provides that. The average Republican voter isn't smart enough to understand someone like Rand Paul.
Trump is vulgar and right
Enjoy living in your liberal cocoon, and keep thinking you are smarter than everyone else.
I love it when right wingers try to pile on liberals or Democrats and accuse them of "spewing hate" or being "intolerant"when they criticize the nut jobs. It is quite entertaining how they think they have come up with this super-clever gotcha.

On a completely unrelated note, since Bar Dues are DUE TODAY….what has anyone got to say about any of the "sections" in the State Bar? Any awesome sections or really shitty sections you want to dish on?
I practice in several areas and I know these sections are frequently a mixed bag – some are really great while some are pretty lousy.
Dang, almost forgot to pay the fees. Thanks for the reminder buddy!
Lol, at this point, I hope the deadline is midnight and not 5pm!
