So Seriously, Who’s Hiring?

  • Law

I’ve heard more and more rumors that a many of Las Vegas large/mid-size firms (i.e. Lionel Sawyer & Collins, Snell & Wilmer, Holland & Hart, MAC, Gordon and Silver, etc.), are finally hiring hiring again.  Specifically, I’ve heard that 2-4 year laterals are increasingly in demand.  Can anyone shed some light on this topic?

I saw on the UNLV career services website that Ballard Spahr is hiring a Real Estate associate with 3-5 years experience.

I do know that within the past 4-6 months Lionel Sawyer, Marquis Aurbach and Lewis Brisbois have all been hiring. I'm not sure if they still are.

The DA's office moved three deputies from its civil division to the criminal division, because of a "critical staffing shortage."

maybe if the DAs would stop taking raises / stop suing the county, they wouldn't have critical shortages. Just saying..
