Is Las Vegas Sands’ Motion to Disqualify Judge Gonzalez just a delay tactic? [RJ]
A Clark County grand jury is hearing evidence about an extortion plot. [RJ]
With the caucus for Democrats on Saturday and Republicans next Tuesday, CNN has released a poll indicating who they think is leading the pack right now. Any surprises? [Fox5Vegas]
All business court cases in Department 29- Judge Scann are being transferred to Judge Joe Hardy in Department 15. [eighthjdcourt blog]
Republican and Rand Paul supporter here. I'll toss my caucus vote into the Jeb Bush camp, if only to register a protest vote and place myself firmly in the "Anyone but Trump, what the hell are you morons thinking" category. It sucks to be a Republican with these candidates.
If you are really doing the Anti-Trump vote, then voting for Ted Cruz and having Ted Cruz win Nevada is your best bet to give Trump an aneurism. Just my two cents.

I would challenge the polls in a different way. How is Bush getting a full 1%?
I need a sanity check. Please either agree with me or tell me I'm nuts: I am a card-carrying Democrat (don't stop reading there and conclude I'm nuts) and I look at all of the viable candidates (Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Bush, Clinton and Sanders) and think that they would be absolutely terrible Presidents. Is it wrong that I'm hoping Michael Bloomberg runs as an independent? I don't agree with all of his politics, but at least I could stomach voting for him. Is there anyone out there who shares my views?
I do. Registered republican and wishing/hoping that Bloomberg will throw his hat in the ring. I'm really struggling about what to do at the caucus with my anti-Trump vote.
Here's the sanity check: Trump would make a fine President. Focused on people not disproved ideologies, he would be the least bad of the candidates. Unlike all the other contenders, he has felt the pain of making payroll, paying taxes, kissing politico rings to get favors, etc. A real man. Bloomberg is a stuffy east coast elitist pig who is denying hell its due every day he continues to draw breath.
Sorry. 12:24 here. As a general rule, I try not to evaluate my own sanity based on comments from people who use phrases like "elitist pig" or make reference to "denying hell its due." In my view, that that type of rhetoric is best saved for talk radio or Klan rallies (both of which I generally try to avoid).
at 12:24 pm: You are nuts. Cruz is fine, Rubio is fine, Bush is fine, Clinton is fine (and she's a woman, didn't you know!) Although not the picks of the litter, but we just had 7 years of Obama, 8 years of G.W. Bush, and 8 years of Bill Clinton. I'm getting used to living in a mediocre country.
12:24 I feel exactly the same way. I am an ambivalent Democrat (financially conservative, socially liberal). Unfortunately, there's no way Bloomberg can get elected because of the gun issue.
@ 8:13; I feel the same way as you do. I am a life long, card carrying republican (fiscally conservative, socially libertarian. I can't support Bloomberg because of his gun position and his nanny state politics (tried to ban supersized sodas in NYC). I am thinking my only hope is that the delegates get so split up among the candidates that the nominations go to the convention floor and they draft someone different than the current crop of clowns.
I'm also not a fan of any of the candidates, on either side. Not sure Bloomberg is the answer either. I really hate the idea of voting for the "least bad" candidate, but that's what it's looking like this year.

I am happy with my Dem choice. I will give you a clue, they are not a socialist.
I'm confused. I thought there were only 3 Dem choices.. 2 socialists and O'Malley who wasn't a socialist. Now that he has withdrawn, there are only 2 socialists left….
Isn't that kinda of like the definition of a liberal… someone who has yet to be a crime victim, whereas, a conservative has already been a crime victim?

I like the Donald. He has my vote. I hope he gets along with people versus firing everyone in the white house. All hail King Donald!!!

Anyone else getting tired of the Hillary commercials? Can't stand seeing her in those bright Mao suits anymore.
If you cannot maintain your personal hygiene, I don't think you can run the country. At least Ronnie maintained his appearance with Alzheimer's. Bernie is gross
Easy now, 5:15. He only wrote those stories because he was young and poor and needed the money so he could upgrade from his dirt-floor maple sugar shack.
I always thought of her as a grandma judge. Anyone know her current status?

Love her. I prefer her over most judges.

I usually throw my vote away on the Libertarian candidate just so I know it's not my fault when whatever happens, happens. I'm seriously considering voting for Trump in hopes of successfully demonstrating that it really doesn't matter what happens in a presidential election. If that happens and it doesn't become a complete trainwreck, then it will prove that we could elect Jenny McCarthy without destroying the country.
Those polling numbers can't be right for the Republicans. No way Bush is only getting 1%.

Trump rocks
Trump – Fiore 2016! Make America great again. Free the Bundys.

they're trying to split the mormon vote between Rubio and Bush. Orrin Hatch is for Bush and some Nevada assemblymen are as well.
Hahaha! That's funny! 11:40

12:24, do not surrender to the momentum of mediocrity. Open your mind and heart to the call of the Donald. Greatness awaits.
12:24 here. Now that is what I call a pitch! Well done 1:51!!
And you may be right 1:42. I appreciate your feedback as well.
12:24 I feel exactly the same way. I am an ambivalent Democrat (financially conservative, socially liberal). Unfortunately, there's no way Bloomberg can get elected because of the gun issue.
You think all the Republican candidates would make terrible presidents because you are a Democrat.
I would vote Republican if Bernie gets the nom. Too bad Christie is out. I am a Dem.

I am happy with my Dem choice. I will give you a clue, they are not a socialist.
So, Rocky De La Fuente?
No, Lucy Flores.
I'm confused. I thought there were only 3 Dem choices.. 2 socialists and O'Malley who wasn't a socialist. Now that he has withdrawn, there are only 2 socialists left….
Of course you are confused, you are a Republican, and your bikes were stolen. I will help you look for it.

Wish Bernie Sanders would comb his hair and brush his teeth. He looks like he is out on a weekend pass from the nursing home.
I think this makes him more authentic and endearing, especially the hair. And I'm a Republican!
If you cannot maintain your personal hygiene, I don't think you can run the country. At least Ronnie maintained his appearance with Alzheimer's. Bernie is gross
Bernie likes to write stories about threesomes and rape. Yeah, I am going to vote for him. He is good presidential material.
Easy now, 5:15. He only wrote those stories because he was young and poor and needed the money so he could upgrade from his dirt-floor maple sugar shack.
Sugar shack, wahoo!! I got this little shack, sugar shack, wahoo.
Easy now. Some of us like our threesomes.
we've got swingers. Is the Red Rooster still open?
Bernie Sanders is disgusting. Presidential candidates who support or even write About rape I will not vote for.
My thoughts and prayers are with Judge Scann, I always enjoyed having cases before her.
I always thought of her as a grandma judge. Anyone know her current status?
Love her. I prefer her over most judges.
