Ironically the word on the street was that the Plaintiff was winning the case and the result was the opposite.

From what I remember, this was a condo conversion case from back in the anything-goes boom years where the homeowners were sold a bill of goods by some developers who didn't have much coverage. But it's pretty tough to try and backdoor a CD case through the property manager that they hired. He should have taken any halfway-decent offer.
