The question is whether a lawyer who lives in Nevada but is not barred here is allowed to practice remotely in other jurisdictions. E.g. can someone live in Vegas but exclusively practice CA law for clients in CA without getting barred in NV. The proposed rule says “yes,” which I agree with, and in any event it seems like something we should clear up.
Emerson has a special surprise coming for Panish that they won’t see coming. And when the defense verdict comes in, they will have to put their E&O carrier on notice.

Inbox getting bombed with notices that Chapter 13 Trustee Rick Yarnell has retired. After the US Trustee pushed out so many Chapter 7 Trustees years ago, was this a voluntary retirement?
This reminds me of when Judge Kim “The Hammer” Wanker required all attorneys to submit filings with wet-ink signatures…. in an order that she signed electronically.

How would they enforce this?
It’s just about clarifying that this isn’t UPL. There isn’t anything to enforce.
Las Vegas paving is going to lose badly. Emerson is an idiot and blaming the driver will backfire.
Las Vegas Paving has a history of bad litigation decisions, including denying its tender and indemnity obligations.
And shutrting down large chunks of our city with no improvements in sight and no workers on the scene.

The Fifth Circuit Warned Lawyers to Verify Citations, Then Cited the Wrong Rule Itself. https://natlawreview.com/article/fifth-circuit-warned-lawyers-verify-citations-then-cited-wrong-rule-itself

Or she demanded the original of something and then highlighted and wrote notes on it (that was this year).
