I am glad that Villani feels sorry for himself for letting off Scott Grayson off lightly. Is this a joke?

He should have received the max. I am glad to see Henderson mayor Debra March and Governor Steve Sisolak being friends with scum, Scolt Gregson. Lost my votes.

The accident was horrific. However to attack people because they wrote letters of community support is torches and pitchforks stuff. I have been asked over the years to write letters of support for people who were good people who did a bad thing. I suspect (because I have not read them and suspect the posters have not either) none of the letters supported Gragson's acts in the accident. The letters describe community involvement and general character. The sentence was higher than I anticipated.

Can any of the criminal people chime in and explain what 8-15 years in state prison translates to in actual time? I understand the sentences are less ridged than in federal court but don't know by how much.

For something like this, 8 years is 8 years. Although, DUI offenders have some specific rules where they can be assigned to residential confinement possibly as early as three years before parole eligibility. 15 years is subject to good time, hard to compute quickly but maybe 9 or 10 tops.

Is Kerry Early still considering working at E & A? If so her abuse of employees may just have been a practice run at "Being an E & A Partner 101." She will fit right in.

That's a bit of detour going through Earley to take a shot at Eglet. You can go right at Eglet straight on…he's a big boy, he can handle it.

I am dealing with way worse judges than Early right now. You've got some real sociopaths on the bench right now

Look at some of the races going on right now. Some are very scary. We all need to help our non-lawyer friends fill out some ballots.

Roomba Stadium is cashless right now, being unused and all. When it finally does open, it will also be classless.

@11:14, incorrect. You must not practice criminal defense so why answer the question? First, 8-15 years is an illegal sentence. He got 8-20 years. It is correct that he will have to do 8 years before parole eligibility (no time off the front on A and B felonies). He may be eligible for home confinement, but he must be within 1 year of his PED (not 3 years). The victims will be notified and have a chance to weigh in. If he maxes 20 years, he'll do about 12 years (60% of the back number).
