Sad to read that Michael Lowry is ending his Compelling Discovery blog.

That is sad. Let's hope someone with more time and similar intellect takes up the cause.

Anyone know if Eglet has served the Summons and Complaint on China in his Covid Class Action? The Eglet website does not provide any updated info, and I am too lazy to have my secretary check Pacer.

"Bad Luck" Schleprock Sisolak's Stadium will be empty this season.

The only remaining question is when will he move to the people's republic of California after Term 1 so that he does not have to be constantly disgraced and mocked in his local news for hanging the Albatross of a Stadium on the neck of the taxpayers?

The public money used to finance the Raiders' stadium came from a hotel tax paid by non-Nevada residents so its highly unlikely the local news will give a rat's ass…

Supposed to be paid by a room tax. Of course there has been very little room tax revenue so the government's backstopping of the stadium loans while budgets are being slashed everywhere is going to be a huge story for years to come.

Agreed 1:28. I also believe that if the room tax cannot support the loans coming due for the stadium, then it will be up to the tax payers to pay the bill… Am I wrong?

1:46,

No, you aren't. There is a reserve, which currently holds $68 million, and which can be applied against the $45 million/year debt servicing. So, if we recover quickly, we can ride out the storm. If we don't recover quickly, Steve's Shithouse will be a major burden on Clark County residents for years to come.

12:06–I don't think anyone with at least half a brain cares what you think about any public official once you start off by calling the person some abusive name that has already been used thousands of times by others.

If you are just venting, then fine. But if you ever expect to be taken seriously…
