UPDATE
Congratulations are in order for Robert Eglet and Will Kemp.  Yesterday, a jury found three drug companies (Teva Parenteral Medicines Inc., Baxter Healthcare Corp. and McKesson Corp.), liable in the latest high-profile hepatitis C case involving Dipak Desai and the Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada.  The jury awarded $20.1 million in compensatory damages so far in this case, and Eglet and Kemp will ask for an additional $600 million in punitive damages in the next phase of the trial.
The RJ has the story here.
So, does that mean nice bonuses this year for everyone at Mainor Eglet and Kemp Jones & Coulthard?

What's the over/under for the punitive damages on the Teva 2.0 trial?

I'm expecting $100 million or so, roughly 5x compensatory. No chance of another $500 million verdict.

Some of the comments to the RJ article are funny.

So, while not half a b-b-b-billion, still a substantial amount. However, my limited understanding is there were three plaintiffs in this case so that number makes even more sense when split three ways (leaving out the attorneys cut). What happened in the other case running concurrently in a different court room?
