This blog does best when it de-emphasizes news and emphasizes rumors, gossip, etc.

I think the blog is doing fine how it is. I agree that the rumors and gossip are exciting, but there's only so much of that to go around. The blog has to keep putting up new content daily to stay relevant and the legal news is the best way to do that. Unless readers are willing to step up to contribute original content…

Where are all the GS attorneys headed? A comment on that thread confirmed its closing.

I am glad to hear Jeff Silver is heading over to Dickins Dicks. He will fit right in with the other wonderful humans over there!

I have opposing counsel whose registered email with the bar is *****@netscape.com. His partner uses an aol.com mail account and their secretary uses a hotmail.com account.

I sh!t you not.

So, what you're saying is that opposing counsel was litigating cases back when you were popping your first pimple and worrying about getting to first base? Good luck.

I hate attorneys who can't pay the $20.00 a year for a real email address. It just makes you look like an ass clown.

One good way to tell if an attorney is over 50 is by his/her use of an aol.com e-mail address.

I hope that Wayne guy wins. I remember I frothed at the mouth when we covered that 1L torts case with the decent property owner booby trapping his property and scumbag vagrants suing because they got hurt breaking in. I hear in Texas they just shoot, shovel and shut up rather than call the fuzz. Wayne learned his lesson!
