This is another department (like Department J) where I will vote for anybody other than the incumbent.

7:44 is 100% correct. The incumbent is SO bad, anything has to be better. Her rulings are not based in reality or law. She has made comments during side bar that range from the ignorant to the completely bizarre. I won't take another case in front of her.

It doesn't matter what a small handful of lawyers think of her demeanor. It's irrelevant. You can dislike her all you want, but she will win handily. She has a lot of support and name recognition, while her opponents have very low name recognition and very little in terms of financial resources. At least Nathan Gibbs attends some events, and spent a little money on signage, so he at least will receive some support from the electorate. But as far as I can see the third candidate is not campaigning.

While I fear 9:41 to be correct, this Incumbent is a nightmare on the bench and proof that truly our electorate has no idea what it is doing. If there were a list of people who truly have no business in a robe…not merely incompetent but dangerous robe fever……she tops the list. On the other hand, she was the source of the Joe Houston case (122 Nev. 544). Not since Judge Goldman have I seen transcripts showing such judicial instability.
