Maybe the IT resources are being diverted to support NVSOS and https://silverstateelection.nv.gov/ both of which are still up. It made me giggle to see current results for the "top" two governor's candidates (with 0 votes counted, the banner goes by the first 2 alphabetically, so Ed Bridges and Brandon Davis).
Oh, come on. The SOS website won't be updated until the very last poll closes, so let Ed and Brandon have their time of being featured on a government website.
Informed that it is an in-house CLE so not available to all attorneys. Twitter post has been deleted.

I saw a unicorn jaywalking across Lewis today on my way to the RJC. Local media was there, but they aren't posting the story because Bey and the illuminati don't want people to know there are unicorns running amuck. Hopefully President Obama gets that loophole corrected and they can put the unicorn videos on Al Gore's internet ASAP.
I was forwarded an email chain from a local list serve and some plaintiff lawyers are calling out other lawyers for buying cases. They were naming names and it was multiple people claiming Pacific Law Firm is sending someone to the crash scenes to recruit clients. Love it when plaintiff lawyers fight each other.

I hope this post doesn't get deleted like the one where I exposed illegals getting ballots. But I also heard just now on the news that Cortez Masto sued to get the polls to stay open until 9 pm. Anyone know anything about that?
There was (some) evidence that certain polling places ran out of paper for the machines and had lines at closing time. But yes it failed and had no impact.
As long as a person is in line, they're are entitled to vote. Desperate on her part.

None of the Above barely spent any money, never campaigned and has not even done a press interview and that dog is getting 26% of the votes. Imagine if he/she actually campaigned and spent some money. None of the Above has the potential to get on the Supreme Court in a mid term with a little funding.
I love the NOTA option in Nevada. But what I don't love is the consequence that someone on the ballot will still be elected. If NOTA wins that should mean new candidates would need to run. Now that would surely allow NV to live up to its wild wild west reputation.
Elections are held to fill offices. A world in which None of These Candidates can win would lead to some very screwy results, and a theoretical possibility that an office could remain vacant. Under existing law, depending on whether it is a state, county, or other local office, the governor, county commission, or some local governing body might have power to fill the vacancy. So you'd trade a democratic election for an appointment. Not a great result in that circumstance.
NV SoS site is either down or overloaded today probably due to election. Can't get my work done. Irritating.
NV Supreme Court website is down too
All state websites are down.

Purposeful? Those chickens.

Things seem to be fixed now.
Russia is hacking the NV SOS website.
Could not register my car online.
NV Supreme Court website was down yesterday too.
@12:21
No. I was not interested in the election pages, was working on a corp matter.
So "Oh come on" right back at you.
Is there really a bench bar CLE today at noon? Link not working, didn't see anything come through email about it, hope there is!
It was there earlier but has been deleted. See https://twitter.com/lasvegascourts/status/1590026197702184960?s=61&t=zAeDTJf168KBok2K9TLwdg

the man’s suit was TAN for God’s sake… how quickly we forget the atrocities of our past
Lawdawg be TTHHWWWAAACCKKin
Zero election results at 9:15 pm? This is embarrassing for our state.
They don’t release results until polls close. New rule.
Thanks
Hardly a new rule. It's been that way for years.
10:29 – Don’t ruin my joke.

Sure. The court denied the request. Any other nothingburgers you want to try and serve up? I mean, you can look this stuff up yourself.
Why would she even try to get the polls to stay open? Seems desperate.

Yes. A refile and a runoff.

refile and runoff.
Suppose the same result, NOTC wins, after the refile and runoff. Then what?
Yianna Rezeikis winning in Department 17 is frightening but is just another crazy log on the pyre of judges we have elected recently.
Sorry meant Department 11….
Ah, the self-admitted Democratic Socialist, right? Is she part of Emerge Nevada?
Yes, she's an Emerge alum. Doesn't speak very highly of their selection process.
It looks like James Dean Leavitt's social media hot take on the new Lone Mountain LDS Temple didn't help him.
I missed it. What did it say?
Anyone know where to find Justice Court results?
https://nevada.totalvote.com/Clark/ResultsSW.aspx?type=TWNS&cid=02&map=
You should be able to find them on the Clark County website: https://nevada.totalvote.com/Clark/ResultsSW.aspx?type=TWNS&cid=02&map=
Wow. Is Suzan Baucum going to lose by 800 votes, or are there still uncounted ballots outstanding?
There are still uncounted ballots. About 15,000 in hand in Clark County, with mail still coming in until Saturday.
11:40 – Baucum apparently took the race for granted and now looks like she is going to pay the price. Bummer.
Other than Gall is there a single race where the most qualified candidate for a judicial race won?
