With ballots set to start arriving in mailboxes next week, it’s time to talk about the contested judicial races featured on that ballot. We welcome your comments on the qualifications of the candidates as well as any information you can offer to help voters make an educated decision. For District Court Judge, Department E, the candidates are:

What are your thoughts on the race in this department?
Hoskin wins decisively.
Hoskin for an easy win. He will win by 25%+.
Hoskin is as good a judge as you could hope for in family court. Not sure why he even drew an opponent.

Have you all seen the ads the Vegas Voice is running again Hoskin? The RJ refused to endorse him but wouldn't endorse his opponent instead. I think it isn't a cinch for him which is a shame because he has been decent. He gets a lot of flak for the county's handling of Guardianship but I think that was more on Norheim.
