It should be close between Parker and Coffing. Blair has my vote. I dealt with Eric some years ago and he's a decent enough guy, but lacks the background of the other two. No idea who Veronica Barisich is.

Not even close between Blair and Terry– Terry is far and away the better choice. I like Blair; Terry is the better option. Watch the RJ Video where Blair appeared completely befuddled as to why he is running.

Why hasn't Blair filed his campaign expense reports? They are required by law. If he is not going to abide by the law should he be a judge?

Veronica is a debt collection attorney. Never saw her before watching the RJ debate. Abbott is an in-house IP attorney for a gaming company. Heard he was a nice guy but has he ever tried a case?

Eric practiced with Teddy Parker for quite a few years and did litigation.

It has been probably 15 years ago but he did do civil litigation.

Coffing 100. Great lawyer and will make a better judge. He'll run a tight fair ship.

I'm voting for Parker. Has the right temperament to be a judge. Coffing will be a tyrant on the bench.

Tyrant? No, I don't think so. Sure, he knows how to take care of business and remove barriers as he progresses towards a goal, but I don't see how that high-level tactical thinking will translate to him being a "tyrant." Once he dons the robe, he will be a judge in every sense of the word.

"high level tactical thinking…" lol. Moreover, I don't need a judge to "take care of business" or "remove barriers" in my cases. Especially when they have so many cases that they can't spend any time actually understanding what is going on. I need even keeled and unflappable. That's Blair.

2:57: I don't know Blair, and I assume he's a fine attorney, but I do know Coffing, and he has the skills and disposition of someone who should be on the bench. An A+ attorney with the intelligence and experience necessary to render justice.

Silly me, I forgot to thank our blog host for posting these judicial election queries. Thank you!

I'd think Barisich would run for JP that way she can deal with all of the default judgments from payday lenders, credit cards, and other high interest credit defaulters – seeing as that appears to be like literally every single one of the cases.

Tyrant? Laughable. He's the most level headed attorney out there.

Blair for me. Great guy. Great family. Great temperament. Substantial trial experience. Not jumping of a sinking ship. Campaign finance reports shmampaign shminance shmports. Sounds like someone wants to know how much money is in his coffers and can't. I'm sure he will get them filed.

IT'S THE LAW! How can you rule on the law when you cannot follow the law? And yes, I do want to know where he is getting his money (or more likely not getting his money) that is why they file reports. Maybe he will get them in when he finds the time….this is who you want on the bench? I am not excited about anyone in this race but Blair is a no.

Terry Coffing is a competent lawyer, and he will probably win this race. I predict that within five years people will consider him to be an arrogant judge.

Well barisich won. I was solidly behind Blair Parker. I thought, and still think, he would be a great Judge. Smart, level-headed, analytical, and willing to make a tough call. He has years of trial experience, and he has years of experience as an arbitrator and short-trial judge.

Having said all that, I have been very impressed with Judge Barisich.
