Malcolm Lavergne made very clear “'[i]t’s my hope that the Goldmans get zero, nothing,’ LaVergne said. ‘Them specifically. And I will do everything in my capacity as the executor or personal representative to try and ensure that they get nothing.’” Beyond being outside the scope of a personal administrator of claims, we now know that Malcolm lost and lost badly. Does OJ’s Estate have $58M? Probably not.

Where does OJ suddenly get $58 million? How much memorabilia is left?

I was curious too. Looking at the probate case, it looks like the article was referring to Goldman’s creditor’s claim being approved. But from the inventory of assets filed in the probate case, it doesn’t look like the estate has any significant assets to actually pay that money. Maybe its just the fight over the validity of the claim that is no longer at issue?

I received a blast/spammy email from an organization which I believe we have all agreed not to mention by name here concerning an alleged vermin problem at the RGJ (real not figurative). Is this really a thing? I’m only over there about once every six weeks or so these days, if that.

I received the same, and usually those emails go straight to spam. I was wondering what made this one permeate my inbox.

Appears Alex Ghibaudo is back and practicing with Leo Flangas’s Firm after swearing that he was never coming back.

The email said judges have complained and are asking to be moved off the first floor. Not sure where they think they’re going to go. Also, I’ve literally never heard a single person who works at rjc say there are rats.

Only rats I’ve ever seen at RJC are wearing suits and ties. Bah-dum-tsk!

“Judges are asking to be moved off the first floor.” If the first floor is infested with rodents, the other floors would be equally infested. A flight of stairs (or escalators) will not deter rats from exploring the rest of the building.

Judges want their courtrooms moved off of the first floor?

re: the HOA commission: The dude is a gadfly, and probably deserved to lose his cases against his HOA, but he’s not wrong about industry capture. The Ombudsman’s Office will literally defer to HOA attorneys rather than do their job.

The Ombudsman’s Office will literally defer to HOA attorneys even over counsel who represent homeowners. And lets be honest– there are about 3 firms that we are talking about when we say “HOA Attorneys”.
