The voters did it anyway, with several of the people currently on the bench. Be warned, it’s likely that someone who intends to challenge Ballou will be substantially worse. It’s a race to the bottom for the Eighth Judicial, powered by the underinformed electorate.
A recently-elected judge requires law enforcement to refer to her as “her majesty” in the search warrants she approves. There are many, many equally bad or worse judges on the bench.
If you mean you will vote for more judges based solely on race, and will vote for women over an equally or more qualified man to put women on the bench, and that any public defender is better than a prosecutor or private practitioner and that you think overt socialism can be rationally intertwined in the American court system and will happily vote for such a judge, “just not this one” (guessing the again is silent), then you are part of the problem with our current bench and your thinking is the reason Erika was elected in the first place.
She won’t. You shouldn’t be shocked. She’s going to make them removr her and then take as many benefits as she possibly can on the way out. And our weak-willed state will pay her off handsomely. It’s not their money.

Whatever happened to Alex Ghibaudo? Wasn’t he suspended then said he was quitting law?
Yo soy el primero!
We should not be appointing or electing halfwits, radicals, weirdos, and losers to the bench.

Worse than Ballou? Such a creature is not imaginable.

Judge Judy doesn’t count
Who is this judge that requires royalty treatment? I have an idea of a newly appointed/elected one but lets see if it is the same
Clearly you jest? It’s hard to tell. Can spill the beans on the name?
What?
But what if they are underrepresented members of the community and a DSA member? You know, the only 2 qualifications that matter
I’ll vote for more black judges. I’ll vote for more woman judges. I’ll vote for more Public Defender judges. I’ll even vote for more socialist judges.
Just not this one.

Cry harder, bro.
I’m honestly shocked she hasn’t stepped down.
Hubris does not come with self-awareness. I dont care about politics. She is objectively bad at her job.

SBN shows him as active. He got a 90-day suspension last December, but that’s done.
I believe he abandoned his office above Garagiste because the realtor showed it for rent.

Dang, only 56. How’d she die? Seemed like a really nice person.
Literally no judge demands to be referred to as “your majesty”. Stop making things up.
This is a literal truth.
This cannot be true. Without a name and link to an order, this is way too out there. Even with our current bench.
“For my friends, everything. For my enemies, the law.”
