“According to the lawsuit, Ciarciaglini “was and/or had been the subject of over two dozen Internal Affairs cases,” but was absolved by former CCSDPD Chief Mike Blackeye.”
Well, whaddaya expect from “Chief Blackeye”?
Lombardo is Trump, Ford is Eglet. Conservative vs. Liberal. I am Liberal so I would never vote for Lombardo, but I have had professional, one on one dealings with Ford, and we can only hope he hires a great staff!
Per the Nevada Indy, Robert Eglet, a prominent Las Vegas trial attorney, made headlines in the Nevada governor’s race by donating $50,000 to the Nevada Way PAC, a political action committee closely affiliated with Republican Governor Joe Lombardo’s re-election campaign.
The IRS filed three tax liens against Aaron Ford totaling more than $185,000, spanning from 2010 to 2013. The federal government released and discharged the liens in early 2016.
The timing of the lien discharge coincided with Ford being hired as a partner at Robert Eglet’s law firm in 2015.
I first met Aaron in Carson City as a State senator. Met with him privately to discuss multiple bills. I was unimpressed with his legal acumen then, found him more focused on party ideology than legal competency, and have now found his tenure as Attorney General predictable and equally unimpressive. He serves his party, not the State.

Yep, I worked along side him on 2 cases. I did 100% of the work. His job was to remember the names of two attorneys who showed up for a meeting. He forgot their names.
i find Ford to be a mediocre candidate, and basically an empty suit, but I will not vote for Lombardo under any circumstances. I will go with the lesser of two evils, rather than the evil of two lessers.
Lombardo vetoes the garbage legislation the Nevada State Legislature tries to pass, but is probably a bad person. Ford is also a bad person, but will let the legislature continue to ruin our state with nonsense laws. Vote for vetoes.

Sigal was one of the strongest attorney’s I’ve gone up against. Very fierce and competent. Some may even say generational.
Three federal judges—a Supreme Court justice, a Court of Appeals judge, and a District Court trial judge—go duck hunting with a permit that strictly allows them to shoot only ducks.
A first flock flies by. The Supreme Court justice raises his gun, then puts it down, saying, “I’m not sure if this qualifies as a duck under the original meaning of the Constitution. I need to consult the Federalist Papers first”.
A second flock flies by. The appeals judge raises her gun, then puts it down, saying, “They look like ducks, but I can’t shoot until I ask two other circuit colleagues for their opinions”.
A third flock flies by. The trial judge raises his gun, fires, and drops a bird. He turns to his colleagues and says, “Sure hope it’s a duck!”
But if the district court judge were from the EJDC they’d say, “Whether those are ducks or not is a question of fact for the jury,” and then they put their gun back in the bag and refuse to make a decision.

Officer Ciarciaglini and Sgt. Oliveri were in the same graduating class at the Clancy Wiggum Police Academy.
I don’t follow politics, but can someone give me the pros/cons for Ford and Lombardo? Seems like an important race to start paying attention to.

It is called “rich guy playing both sides”. Eglet paid off Ford’s tax liens, remember?
Did he really pay off his tax liens?

I have no dog in this fight, but this is comedy gold.

So we’re all writing in Craig Mueller? Done.
Lombardo will at least veto all the clearly unconstitutional bills that the legislature passes.

That “some” is Sigal.
Sigal is truly generational; she generates lots of smoke and no real substance.
@1:16pm HAHAHAHHAHAHA that was a good joke.
