Stephen Stubbs is on a downhill spiral. His self promoting and media attention seems to have back fired. He took a plea deal in the battery case in Boulder City, he was called a LIAR by a Federal Judge in Arizona (Sons of Hell case), he has a major malpractice case filed against him, he allegedly assaulted office staff at attorney Mark Coburn's office, he is charged with obstruction in a case brought by Metro, he hasn't been able to get his "civil-rights" cases to go anywhere and now he admits to a gross misdemeanor and a potential felony. I suspect this is just the beginning of his troubles.
Does he tote around guns like Steve Sanson? If so, I would give him a wide berth. In fact, we should give both of them wide berths; never know when a dude is going postal.

Here's my fun experience for the weekend: Leaving a motorcycle club event on my Harley with an AK47 strapped to my back, plus 1,200 rounds of ammo and 6 high capacity magazines.
This HAS TO earn me back some man points.
Wow! I guess people don't know that my case is dismissed. The witness said metro lied. My bail and my guns were returned to me. My CCW status is activated back to its current status and most importantly my records are sealed.. But Head "Anonymous>> At least I give my identity.. COWARD!

Well, Steve, the reason is simple. When judges suck up to you, they get to slap a logo from "Veterans in Politics International" on their campaign materials and claim, dubiously, that they are supported by Clark County's veterans, even though your organization is a one man show run be a man baby. Of course, all of us here know that is bullshit, and so do the judges. But the voters don't, and that's all that matters.
Here is a email that Boulder City attorney Dave Olsen sent to Steve Sanson on behalf of Mayor Tobler along with a written press release prepared to attack former councilwoman Linda Strickland when she was running against Tobler for Mayor. Interesting that Tobler was using the city attorney to do his dirty work along with Stubbs and Sanson. Sanson was the hatchet man for the Mormons in Boulder City to attack those that they wanted out! I did not include all the bullet points they wanted used for the attack that is attached because it is several pages. Stubbs enlisted Sanson to do the same thing against former Boulder City Chief of Police Thomas Finn. Sanson no longer buys into Stubbs BS and they have parted ways.
Once again this is a story about Stubbs being investigated for a crime.

Raiding a lawyer's office because of a notary violation? Hmm…I think we've jumped the shark folks. (Seriously though, how stupid was it for Stubbs to notarize his client's signature that the client's girlfriend attested was bonafide? And how stupid was it for him to notarize a signature in a case where he was the attorney. Double stupid.)

Even if Judges Johnson and Tao are appointed to the Intermediate Court of Appeals, voters who made campaign contributions to these respected Judges would not feel "shafted" as suggested by the Las Vegas Tribune. In fact, a voter may feel as if their contribution went further to promote the candidate/Judge they supported. In any event, these contributions (to the extent not used up) will definitely be needed in two years for reelection (assuming that these Judges get the appointments).
