Does it feel like Las Vegas is getting hotter? [Las Vegas Sun; TNI]
The Judicial Selection Commission interviews are underway for Department 8. Any insight as to how the process is going?
Does it feel like Las Vegas is getting hotter? No more than it has been in 100 years. Though, if the politicians really want me to get on board–>stop packing in folks in tight spaces (i.e., all the apartments in the Valley) and less spaces between houses.).

Question for the group – is there an easy/free way to receive NVSC Advance Opinions or be notified about them other than checking the website every week?
@ 4:47, your victim complex has reached new heights. Normally I see these "they never pick white males for these positions :(" comments during the interviews. But now there are literally three white male finalists for the position, and you still manage to shed your "it will be another woman :(" tears again. Grow up.

Well, if they had it set up right, you could subscribe to the RSS feed on https://nvcourts.gov/Opinions, but I don't think it is working right now.
NSB should email the AO's automatically with an opt out option.
Anyone know why the Nevada Court Watchers group was deleted from FB? I figured a cease and desist must have been sent.
It was made a secret group.

Alverson Taylor is the best because you get to join the ranks of approximately 50% of Nevada lawyers who worked there in the past
Atkin, Coffing, Vadala
Final 3??
Atkin, he should have received Department 6. Speaking of which, Tim Kelley is moving to Detroit. Bye, bye.
Whatever. We all know it will be another woman.

Tim Kelley was moving to Detroit 7 years ago…what makes it real now?
Is one of those three "transitioning"?
Coffing should get the appointment. He's a great lawyer and a fantastic human being.
Does Las Vegas feel hotter? Definitely NOT this year. This has been the coolest summer I remember in 20 years.
