Driving on Maryland Parkway is always hell. We’ll see if $300 million dollars will change that.

I understand that Maryland Parkway will actually lose 1 lane in each direction under the redev plan.

Back in the day, the Trop had a good teppanyaki restaurant. Maybe 25 years ago.

The Tropicana closed at 3 am. If you are reading this and thinking of going to say goodbye, it is too late.

I got married at the Tropicana’s wedding chapel in 1995. The marriage did not exactly work out; but it was a fun day.

I got married in the same wedding chapel in 1992. Same results.

I married elsewhere in 1992, but my wife (still married) and I used to sneak in at night and swim in those amazing pools when we were dating and engaged.

I did mushrooms and swam in those pools. Great time.

I can see the allure of that experience. Those pools were epic.
