The CPK party is a uniquely Las Vegas thing. Where else does the legal community get together for what is essentially a high-end drunken frat party? I don't mean this in a negative way either. I go every year just to see what might happen, which well-respected member of the local bar or bench might go on a drunken rant, or which local steroid-fueled meathead might start talking out of his ass. The food is usually pretty good, the building is very nice, the beer is yellow and free, and the CPK attorneys and staff are enthusiastic and friendly. And there are usually a few huge-breasted dumb skanks wearing tops that are one or two sizes too small who have a little too much to drink and act a fool. I swear, it's better than seeing "O". This is one of the truly fun things to do in Vegas that doesn't involve a casino.

Rock on, Craig P. Kenny

Is this party where Justice Cherry goes, wearing sweat pants, and dancing with younger women?

@ 8:43. I really like the positivity of that comment. I attended my first and last CPK party about 5 years ago. I remember some attorney talking to me about how much money he made. Some drunk girl tripping and spilling her beer on me. But, you are right, it really is a unique event to Las Vegas that brings a lot of people together. I may even give it another go this year.

It is indeed that party, 10:10.

One year a fight even broke out. That was awesome.

God, I love Las Vegas. I keep up with my friends that I went to law school with (alas, neither the Class of 2013 or Boyd), and the environment they practice in is SO BORING. We practice in what is probably the most colorful legal environment in America. And interesting work is a big factor in the quality of your professional life, IMO. Keep wearing those sweatpants, Justice Cherry. And here's hoping some memorable sh!t goes down tomorrow night! Thanks CPK!

I think every attorney should go to the annual CPK event at least once. I stopped going years ago, but I still have fond memories of goofy antics and provocatively dressed women. We are blessed to have a generous and fun firm like CPK to host such events.

Sounds like a relatively mundane night for the Boyd Class of '13.

The Nevada bar page is already timing out. What terrible memories this evokes.

It's just comical this happens every year. It's not like they're being bombarded by hundreds of thousands of users. When I passed in 2011, the bar site went down and I found out because an associate at my firm knew a guy down at the RJC that had the list. For those desperately looking for results, the judges have them. Find someone that knows someone at the RJC and you'll find out lickety split

To those of you who did not pass on your first try, our condolences.

To those of you who did not pass on your 2+ try, well you should be used to it by now.

Bar Exam results are posted. Seems like a decent pass rate of 61 per cent. They have definitely dumbed down the exam. Do folks realize about the same number of people take the bar in Nevada as in Arizona. But Arizona has twice the population, a stronger economy, two law schools, and their economy has completely recovered from the downturn. .

Yo, 3:05, where are you getting your numbers? From what I can find twice as many people sit for the exam in Arizona.

I guess we also need to turn a jaundiced eye to everything else 3:05 stated. 3:05 is quite obviously not a member of the Boyd Class of 2013.

The economy here sucks. Legal and economy just as bad. Yup , keep the passage rate high.

Villaini gave the smack down to Nowsch's attorney. Good. I still think this jury is going to be hung jury or not guilty. Still seems like a drug deal. Meyers have no credibility.
