I used to look up to the criminal defense bar, but like so much else, it has become overrun with leftwing nutjobs. All cops bad. All property owners bad. All white men evil. And so on. There was a time when the defense bar was about substantive and procedural due process. No more.

So even the bar itself is pursuing pointless fake awards now… Fantastic.

Friendly reminder for anyone who needs it today:

It's ok to get help. Whether it's anxiety, depression, addiction, or anything else. Talk to a friend, go to therapy, see your doctor. There's also the Lawyer Assistance Program provided by the bar. I used one of their therapists several years ago and it was really helpful.

There's a lot going on – make sure you're taking care of yourself.

Motion to dismiss in the George Floyd case

https://t.co/1KwrggBTo8?amp=1

Pretty compelling stuff.

Maybe Chauvin is innocent, and this whole covid/blm nightmare was part of a cia plan to get rid of orange man and crash the U.S. economy

Those Soros funded D.A.s sure have come in handy, and at just the right time too.

But can you imagine the death and destruction that will surely follow if the officers are not convicted?

True, but at what price do we sacrifice justice? The officers were wrongfully and intentionally demonized, street thugs were mobilized, and people literally died as a result. Is that the world we want to live in? If cops can't find safe harbor behind complete and faithful adherence to department policies, then where does this end?

Why has the media escaped scrutiny after the senseless violence following Rodney King, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, etc.? They deliberately incited violence to do what? Ruin the republic? Boost ratings? Tear down the [fill in boogeyman of the moment, patriarchy, systemic racism, structural racism…]?

Motion was compelling.
